So, are you going to start packing now?

Nope, I'm going to go do laundry.. I'm kinda waiting on Alex tho.. I think he cheated and went to bed, though. Silly high-schooler.

:rotfl:

That's what I'm doing...laundry so it doens't sit for 10 days+

I'm fueled with coffee and I'll be watching POTC once the dryer's done. :woohoo:

Hahah uh oh Alex got on might be awhile before I get to my laundry..

Michael was the closing manager tonight so I got away with whatever I wanted..

but Alex attacked me with tomatoes and started rubbing them in my hair! :( So I need to shower at some point, I've got tomato goop in my hair..

Are you going for a new hair color? O.k., I'm off to fold the first load of laundry....*sigh*

ha ha ha, its not done yet. :woohoo:

Psh, no! but man was he proud of himself.

Soo I think this is rather crappy... just found out they're having a memorial service for Michael's sister in the park on Saturday the 9th.
We won't be here.
I just found out and he hasn't said anything about it before.. but I can't believe they wouldn't check to make sure he'd be around for it or something before planning something like that.

Crazy.

That's pretty cold if you ask me and I'm not talking about temperatures either. How sad for him. :sad2:

I'm glad you have eachother to hold eachother up and keep each other some what sane.

ahahahaha he started yelling at me because after Alex rubbed tomato in my hair, I started throwing tomatoes at Alex (we were closed, by the way!) So I went in the office where he was doing paperwork and started rubbing tomatoes all over his head..

The oldest person in that store tonight was Michael, at 20 years old. We were all having a blast and it was pretty awesome :)

Sounds like some thing out of I love Lucy. :lmao: :lmao:

Patsy, look what I found on Yahoo just now ! This is why you were throwing tomatoes at eachother...

Painting the town red
Thousands hurl tomatoes in a
small Spanish town’s big annual food fight.» Watch video

Patsy, here's the article info from Yahoo: BUNOL, Spain (AFP) - Some 40,000 Spaniards and visitors gathered in this eastern town to drench each other in 100,000 kilogrammes (220,000 pounds) of tomatoes in the annual Tomatina festival.

Madcap participants, including thousands of mainly British, French and German tourists, turned themselves into a 'human gazpacho' in a riotous display of self-indulgence at one of the world's messiest festivals.

Most donned waterproof capes to stave off the onslaught of juice and pulp in a manic free-for-all believed to have begun life as an argument between two carnival participants in 1945.

In keeping with local tradition the tomato throwers opened the fun and games on the stroke of midday, when five lorries piled high with the fruit moved into the central plaza of the town just outside Valencia, an AFP photographer said at the scene.

That was the signal for everyone to hurl tomatoes -- which had been squashed up a little in advance to make them all the mushier -- at all and sundry for an hour, turning the streets into a red pulp.

As always, revellers clad in the oldest clothes they could find then made use of showers placed at their disposal for the occasion or else jumped into a nearby river to clean themselves up while the fire brigade moved in to hose down the streets and sweep up the debris.

So popular is the event, which reputedly sprang from the ire of a would-be local serenader whose lute-playing found scant favour with residents, that Spanish authorities have recognised it as a "festival of international tourist interest".

Hahaha, wow.. and here I thought we were being creative!

We had an entire pan of extras and tomatoes are much easier to clean up than lettuce or onions.. that and they fly through the air a bit better ;)

Taeja, don't leave me yet! I've almost hit 1000 posts and I'd feel silly if I just posted to get there..
