I have really thick hair...maybe that's my problem too! :rotfl:
Kristin used to have really thin hair like mine but know it is getting thicker. She hates to brush all the way through it so now she takes showers in the morning instead of night so she does not have to deal with it. :rotfl:

SoFL and the Bahamas are always hot, except for a break Dec-Feb. You don't get the crazy 100's temps some of the country gets during the summer b/c of the ocean breezes. August and Sept seem the hottest months to me. If the sun is out, you will be hot and wet with sweat, best to figure out how to embrace it. If you are outside and not hot, its raining on you, you are wet with rain. You could keep doing stuff were it not for the killing lightening. The rain cools things a bit but as soon as the sun comes back out you have muggy humid heat. Best bet is get wet and be a shade seeker to stay cool. Very easy to get dehydrated when alchohol is involved, I try to make water the every other drink of choice.

I grew up in Palm Beach County so I know what you mean! I agree with the dehydration thing.

My DS got sick the first day we were in Daytona over Memorial Day weekend. It was 9am out and 90+ degrees. We were running around and playing outside. He threw up his breakfast. After that, I made sure he drank plenty of water and gatorade before he went outside

I didn't have hair until I was 4. My mom used to tape bows into my hair so they would know I wasn't a boy. Course I just pulled them out :rotfl2: :teeth:

Now my hair falls out in clumps (I leave hair everywhere I go) and yet I still have tons of it. Go figure :confused3

Good to know. We get really hot but not humid and that does it to me.

I went to DD's open house last night and got all her work for the trip! She has a lot but he gave it to her early so she could get as much done as possible. Her teacher is real nice and one of her assignments is to take a lot of digital pictures so they can do a PowerPoint project together.

I do not agree with all of his points or hers, but I do believe that a mother's/wife's participation in the home is extremely important to the success of the marriage and the well being of the children.. Females have the ability to keep the smaller (not less important) more detailed aspects of the home/relationship intact and working smoothly. Men (me) have a tendancy to think on a more macro scale... The correct combination works very well.

Leaving detailed and repetitive tasks to men= disaster... We do not do that very well...

Most people fight over two things money and sex..Often, these two issues are tied indirectly to your career, thus it sometimes becomes one giant mess.

I do not think work has anything to do with it, as long as the proper amount of time by both parties is dedicated in some capacity to the home and family. Things seem to start to breakdown when this becomes too far out of balance.

Can you add this to your Star Wars vasectomy sublimal speech?

I learned a valuable lesson the first go round. Find someone with the same thoughts about money, saving, investing etc.

As for the sex, tell me I am beautiful, give me lots of hugs and kisses, put the toilet seat down and HELP (not do everything) around the house/with the kids and you will get it at least three times a week! ;) :thumbsup2

Its a VERY long, semi-childish joke-lol. The only difference is the answer has a questionable term and when I saw this I could not stop cracking up so I made it my sig..... :rotfl:

Mine's the same way!! I swear half of it comes out in and after the shower and yet I still have so much! Wow Kerry...are you sure you're not my twin?? :rotfl:

I'm trying to read that article...but a lot is going on. :p Anyways...read the first paragraph and I do not agree. I want kids...lots of kids...and I want a very successful career. I plan to be very happy about having kids...as I am very happy to be an aunt. And I'm very sure I won't cheat on my husband and I really hope I don't get divorced. I don't see why having a career would make a difference in these such matters...well maybe the cheating/divorce thing, but not too much the kids thing.

I will never forget when I went to marital counseling. She told me "if you do this 3 times a week your husband will be more responsive to helping and will feel more attractive" I of course just laughed at her :rotfl: Um-lady he moved out of our bedroom the minute our son was born-talk to him :lmao:

However, now that I am in a healthy relationship-she was absolutely right :thumbsup2 ;)

experience life, build up your career and then get married and have kids. You have a better shot that way.
