Uh oh! I just looked at the calendar and realized it was my parent's 25th Wedding Anniversary.. I think this is a big deal? I don't know.

Sooo.. I guess I need to go get something, but what?

I wish I could help you. My parents 25th was in June and I couldn't think of anything...and then the best idea hit me! I bought us all dinner at the Melting Pot on their anniversary.

I'm gonna say yes..it is a big deal. It is for my parents...they're going on an 11 night Disney cruise without us.

:shrugs: My parents do all their vacations without me so thats nothing, haha..
They rent a condo on the beach about 4 weeks out of the year and go to a Spa once a year, too.. I don't know if they're going anywhere to celebrate or not? They usually only tell me they're going a couple of weeks before they leave Crazy people.

I don't know. I don't really know them that well? I guess I'll go to Hallmark and get some generic gift. *shrugs* What else can I do? They're not even both here. So I can't really be like "Okay, lets go to dinner!" (Whats the melting pot anyway?)
Hmm.. off to the mall, I suppose..

It's this BEYOND expensive fondue restaurant where you make your own fondue. It is sooo good! Especially the dessert...mmm...warm, melted chocolate covered strawberries...and bananas, and marshmellows...

WE're getting the birthday stateroom decorations for dh's mom. youngest dd is used to sharing so she'll think its for her too.

I had a patient last night who had a miscarriage. Her husband and her were in the room crying. I cant deal with crying people because then I start! I did fine and explained her instructions and told her if she had any problems or question to com eback. She thanked me and I said youre welcome. Then the husband said thank you and I started to cry. I felt so sorry for them!

It's nice that you care though. When my son was in the NICU waiting for his first surgery, one of the nurses commented that I was "awfully emotional".

hey... if you're not going on a cruise, can you have special stuff set up in the rooms for someone getting on board? if i remember right i think you can... i want to have stuff sent to my parents on the 11 night cruise they're going on a week and a half after we get back from this one. they're going for their 25th anniversary

My Disneyland Photo Album that I got off ebay. I'm not sure when it got mailed, but I got feedback from the seller a couple days ago so I think she sent it around the same time.
