Brutal! I tried to order my mom Rainbows online for her birthday, but the dang website was so messed up...it always took me to an error page. I called and the woman told me it was because of my pop up blocker...so I took that down and it still happened. :confused3 I got so mad I just said screw it and bought her earrings from Shaws instead. :cloud9:

Finally, some closure! Logan was diagnosed with asthma a few years ago and for the most part, he has outgrown it. I have heard from a couple of doctors that it's possible so hang in there. He got slammed with bronchitis that never went away. He used to take Singular daily and he also had an inhaler for those times when the wheezing got really bad. He's been off the Singular for over a year and uses the inhaler a couple of times a year, usually when he's around pets that he isn't used to.
I am glad I just know what it is. Her coughing has been driving me crazy. They put Kristin on some powder inhaler 2 times a day. Then she will have a regular inhaler for when she gets out of breath for sports. That's albuterol. Strong stuff. Emily is on the singular once a day. Oh yeah and Kristin has antibiotics for her ear infection. She never has had an attack but I noticed she was playing very sluggish in her soccer game last week. Poor thing I am yelling pick it up and she can't breath. :guilty:

Dont be too hard on yourself! You didnt know :grouphug:

I had a patient last night who had a miscarriage. Her husband and her were in the room crying. I cant deal with crying people because then I start! I did fine and explained her instructions and told her if she had any problems or question to com eback. She thanked me and I said youre welcome. Then the husband said thank you and I started to cry. I felt so sorry for them!

The antibiotics will help kick the infection and the inflammation of her bronchial tubes. I am sure you'll start seeing an improvement in a couple of days. You did the right thing by taking them to the doctor!

Oh that is so sad. That's why I cant be in that field. When I was doing my EMT training they brought some old man in that had a heart attack. To make a long story short the doctor pronounced him while I was doing chest compressions and I started crying and saying but that is some one's grandpa.

 So, is that why I am the way I am? I lived by the beach all my life before I got married. Didn't realize (5 years too late) how much I miss being by water. I got excited after seeing Lake Michigan for the first time. :yay:

Oh Lori, the guilt of knowing after the diagnosis must be killing you. I know it would me. But now you know and that its being treated. Wouldn't it be nice if it just went away *poof* disappeared? DD should be getting to feeling better soon. Cont'd hugs to all of you near MM.

I was starting to get irritated because I took them in a month ago and they said it was a chest cold and then again on the well check on August 10 and then today. These are kids that never go to the doctor and we have been 3 times in a month.

Awww miscarriages are so sad. We had neighbors that had a few miscarriages...and then they got lucky and have a beautiful daughter. They tried to have another but she had another miscarriage. :guilty: She ended having to have a histerectomy. It's really sad but I'm happy the at least go to have one princess! princess: Our neighbors across the street also had a miscarriage. They have one daughter, and then they had a miscarriage, so the adopted the cutest little girl from China. princess:

How awful. I would have cried too. How sad! That pain is so horrible. Just thinking about it brings tears to my eyes.

It is tough and I dont want to say you get use to it but only 3 cardiac arrests have ever bothered me: my first one, one was an older man going to the post office to mail his bills-when I saw the gas bill I started to cry and the 3rd was a young girl whos mother was a nurse upstairs and her sister now works with us-had a very bad asthma attack and ended up going into arrest. I cried that night. I cried with the supervisor and the family! I general try to stay away from the family because when they start to cry so do I. But that night I ended up taking care of the family and relaying info to them and whne the Dr came in to tell them everyone lost it including the DR. I know for a fact it bothered him to have to call it!
It' rough sometimes:guilty:
