Haha.. we've got Coal Miners, ya know! Luckily, I don't live in that part of the state. I live in the part that is slowly killing everyone because of all the contaminated water (C8/Dupont!) and air from the plants.

I guess he's not *technically* illegal. He'll be 17 in October.. :rotfl:
It just seems rather wrong to me.. as I'll be 20 in April. I feel like I'm robbing a cradle or something... I need to hightail it outta here! :moped:

I looked up the Age of Consent Law for WV and I was wrong, it IS 16 as long as I'm not 23... and I tend to think that governs everything in that type of field.
O well, who knows what will happen... :rolleyes1

Is this Michael we're talking about?....ETA: never mind, I'm following the flow....

I was trying to decide and leaning toward not taking one. Last time we ate at Palo's and I took a suit...We have a lot of luggage and a suit holder would add another piece.... :confused3 :confused3

Be a rebel, don't take one.

If I was your wife, (well, I would be a lucky lady but that's beside the point) I would tell you to skip the suit. I think vacations should be relaxing and since I grew up in South Florida where no one dresses up (cause it's just too hot most of the year) I truly believe you can look nice and not have to be in a suit.

well, if his DW like him in a suit and if he'll get some from weraing it, then I say pack the suit. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Oh yeah! You would have to roll me into to dinner because I would be in a fit of giggles after three tastings.

Is everyone's DH or DBF wearing a jacket and/or suit at dress up night????

DH bought a suit for the occasion :goodvibes

Of course, we are only driving a short distance from our house, and only bringing a medium sized garment bag (for the suit, his shirts, and my dresses) plus a regular suitcase, so we don't have the same challenges as most everyone else here.

And for the record, though we say we bought the suit for the cruise, we really bought it because he did not own a suit. 35, and never owned a suit! He's so lucky he married me.
Or not, depending on how you look at it :rotfl2:

Who needs food? Just show up for dessert :thumbsup2

Is that because he knows you like him in a suit and wants to "get some" as TaeJa put it? :rotfl:

What night are you going to Palo?

I'm planning on signing up the minute I get on board. I think that we are going to do the beer tasting and wine tasting. My dad will do the beer tasting with us and my mom will do the wine tasting with us.

My reason for skipping the martini tasting is that I know I don't like two of the martini's already.

I think we are doing the beer tasting, we did the wine tasting last year (and it was fun). Not sure if I'm doing the martini tasting, or just getting the martini flight at the bar when I get on board.

Decisions, decisions.....

We are in Palo's that night. My dad and Kevin will not be wearing jackets.

I know flame me. I just think it isn't necessary. They are both wearing dress slacks and button down, collared, long sleeve shirts.

Nah - DH wore dress pants, a shirt and a tie last year and it was just fine. In fact, Palo had alot more casual diners than I was expecting.

And one rather unfortunate "Bo-Derek" full-head bahama braided hairstyle on an otherwise attractive young lady.......it made me think of that episode of Friends where Monica had hers done, with shells on the bottom. She swung them around and they went "clink clink" - to which Chandler replied "oh, it's a treat for the eyes AND the ears!"

:rotfl2:

okay I just busted out laughing and the Exec Director whose office is two doors down shouts: What are you laughing at woman!

Of course that just made me laugh more! :rotfl2:

According to my wife, one of her parts may be closed that week for maintenance, however, it is not a closed loop system that would prevent the other parts from operating when one or more parts are out of service :thumbsup2

:rolleyes1

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thought about posting "I don't get it" but then decided that being married and 31 years old doesn't exactly equal wearing a halo ;)

You GO, Bill! :woohoo:
