Lucky you. Mine ate a cordless phone and liked to eat the brass sprinklers we installed after she ate all the plastic ones. But that was 12 years ago and crating was not talked about as much. If I get a new dog that is the way I am going.purplern said:Knock on wood she didnt chew(much) when she was a puppy. I caught her in her crate one day knawing on the dresser beside it. We put a piece of plastic there and she stoppped. I think she likes it too because if she drops it it bounces, so its like someone is playing catch with her.
She grew out of it though and ended up being the best dog I have ever had. The family misses her a lot.

Not that I wouldn't LOVE to have another ONE (at least a couple of years ago), I'm too terrified of having twins again - they're pretty thick in my family. My great-great grandmother had 3 sets of twins.
I freaked When the sonogram tech told me I had fibroids. I thought she said I was having 5 boys!

We didnt crate our first dog, but we did with Ginger. She is going to be 2 and has the run of the house but at bedtime she wants in the crate with the door shut and locked.
