Wow you guys have a volunteer breakfast quick.

It's really a volunteer orientation. They served coffee, juice & muffins. I popped in for a few minutes but then went back to class to finish AR.

Neither of my kids ever got better from the chest colds so I am going to take them both in later this morning. I want them good for the trip. Lisa, How are your kids now? Is everyone feeling better?

Thanks for asking, Lori. Conor is doing much better. He still has the cough but it has definitely improved. I'm actually pretty surprised that it's passing quickly. He only coughs on occasion, not every two minutes like he was. Thankfully, nobody else caught it (another surprise!) I am hoping and praying that everyone stays healthy! Let us know how your doctor visit goes!

Yes it went down pretty early and never came back up. Has anyone heard from Kerry? I think she posted last on Sunday. Was she going somewhere?

I think it was a wedding she went to. Forgive me Kerry if I was wrong.

I just went thru the same deal, checking to see if I had registered them and then got reminded about this password thing. I 'think' I remember. But still, I like the idea of them ID'ing anyone getting kids. What if someone overhears me say my password? They can use it? I know, parinoid, but I prefer ID's. Various studies have shown kids going off with adults b/c they are authority figures and buy the thing being told to them.

You're not being paranoid, you can't be too safe these days!

I do like the fact that my boys will be able to pick DD up. That will be very helpful!

Well.. Rink has to go to the Vet now. He's had a weird place where he got netuered and I just now remembered to call (told you, horrible owner..) and he's apparently having an allergic reaction to his stitches. Great.

sooo.. emergency vet trip, here I go!

O.k. then I probably only imagined that she posted Sunday it has been longer? I do think I remember her saying something now. Lisa, I am glad no one else got it the bug going around your house. Kristin just seems to not be getting enough air. I have a nebulizer (sp) so I am hoping he will just give me the medicine for it.

I love her reports! I kind of got the impression that someone was making stupid comments but to be honest, I skipped all the comments and only read the trip reports.

Speaking of passwords..I forgot my secret password to pick up my kids in the club. I did it when I registered them months ago, and forgot to write it down
I wonder if I call will they give it to me????

ETA: Yup, says you will be reminded of it when you first check your kids in.

I just don't understand why some people feel the need to do that kind of stuff. I'm glad I didn't see it. The trip reports were very cute. I am sure that if my daughter met hers, they'd have a blast! DD even asked if Maddie was sailing with us after I showed her the pictures. Too cute.

It wasn't quite as serious as the Vet Tech made it seem over the phone.

Vet looked at him and *supposes* that he got some skin folded up in there during the neuter and the skin started to grow fur-- and it gave Rink an ingrown hair..
He had to open the area up and pull the skin loose. Rink was a bit dazed, but ishappily romping around the back yard again now...

We're so close! I bought fabric for my pirate costumes in December and still haven't finished any of them.. Whoops.

I'm gonna lay down and try to get some rest now. I'm exhausted and it's my day off! (No class OR work!)
