OK, caught up --but I do skim. I'll be taking the weekend off so if any scheduling things change I might need a PM, won't be able to make it thru hundreds of posts on Monday!

Decided to do wine tasting and get martini flight from some bar sometime. That is something fun I just learned about this morning! Do all the bars do it or just certain ones?

For those doing Atlantis via one night reservation, are you attempting to pack a lunch? I thought I read about ordering room service sandwiches and wrapping them up but this was way back. Are you allowed to take food off of ship? Do you order sandwiches for 9am delivery or do they only do breakfast so you'd better order them the night before and keep them overnight? I know I'm bringing water bottles. I think I "deserve" a fruity drink at Atlantis for planning our trip.... even if it is pricy! This is likely stupid question but, I don't have to worry about the water or ice in the Bahamas, right? It's not like Mexico.

Well, I've read thread responses that say yes and no. I know that people have said that they ordered room service sandwiches and took them off ship at Nassau with no problem at all. I know other people have said that this isn't legal, and my passporter is very non-committal about it. I'd really like to try taking our lunch with us because I don't want to have to worry about finding a place to eat while we're out. :confused3 I can't imagine why you wouldn't be able to order your sandwiches at the same time as you order your breakfast, but I could be wrong.

ETA: Tried doing a search but of course the server was too busy. If I remember, I'll try doing the search in the middle of the night, when I'm trying to stay up later than Patsy. :rolleyes1

Sooo Lisa.. you're a mom with a kid almost Alex's age.. you'd be okay with him bringing someone my age home?
It'd definitely be weird. I would have less of a problem with it if he was 18 and she was 21 than the 16/19 thing. Then again, I know some 16 year olds who are more like 20 year olds, and others who are like 12 year olds. It's really hard to even imagine, not knowing either of you. Guys in general are so much less mature than girls, I'd honestly be leary of that from your point of view.

The school provided a dinner?????
PTSA fundraiser dinner. They have a guy who comes to cook, chicken parm, ziti, garlic bread and a really good salad. His kids aren't even at the school any more but he comes to all the functions and organizes the meals. They charge $6 a head (kids under 5 free) and everybody hangs out and chats until it's time to start walking the schedules and visiting the teachers.

Well, I got an e-mail from my TA, saying he got the documents. :thumbsup2 He said that he wanted to verify my address, then he'll get them out to me in the next couple of days! :furious: Are you kidding me? Doesn't he know that I want them now? What's a polite way to ask him if he's completely mental? :rolleyes1

So, do I win? Am I the last one to get my documents? Got to put a positive spin on this somehow...

Okay, I'm too used to playing catch-up. I'm sitting here, looking at the last post and waiting for someone to post something. Help me, I'm addicted!

At least you know they're coming. Not sure if you're the very last, I guess we'll have to wait to see when you actually have them in hand.

It's not a contest (although I will admit I would have felt a great deal of satisfaction if I could have posted I was first :rotfl: ).
He works for you. A call back with a request to send them out today would not be unreasonable. Also inquire what method they are being sent ie UPS 2nd day,3rd day, USPS??? pirate:
