How cool to just go to Epcot for a date night

We figured we were so lucky to live here that we should take full advantage. That way if we ever move, we can't be like "we should have gone to Disney more" hehe.....

My flippin neighbors are at it again. Minus the Fleetwood Mac CD. I told you I like skeet shooting. I am setting the alarm for 5:00 and I think I need to make sure the motorcycles are starting O.K.

I used to have neighbors like that. Once we called the police on them because he was hitting her. Then she got mad and called the police on US, because we were parked slightly in the street. The cop came and was like....."uh, there's nothing illegal about that, good night"

Now the worst we get is the neighbor that wanders up the greenway behind our house at night talking really loud on her Nextel. beep beep! beep beep!

Sorry you're not feeling so great tonight. I keep meaning to tell you, every time you break into song, it makes me laugh. Mainly because I tend to do the same thing, with the same songs. ESPECIALLY that STUPID LAWRENCE WELK song! I didn't know anyone else even KNEW that song anymore.

When I go to the beach, if I find a shell that's a whelk, I always say "oooh look, it's Lawrence!" and then break into song. Turn on the bubble machine!

Thanks I feel better today. LOL!!!! Glad you like my songs . I was little and I remember my Mom and Dad on Sunday I think always watching Lawerence Welk. So Yes I too remember.

Holly, I'll add your cruiser info tomorrow. The only thing I know about Jimmy Buffett is the chorus to Cheeseburger in Paradise and that he's got two Cheeseburger in P. resturants here. The first one he opened b/c many fans were willing to go to the concert in rain. (Verison Ampitheatre).

I liked the Lawrence Welk Show! I watched it with my grandparents all the time. Danced in their living room.

Vicki, how are/were you feeling (in case you read this message tomorrow)? Did you get your bloodsugars regulated? You weren't feeling good, but you still left us with a song. 20/20 was going to do a special on child actors who's lights have passed over them (after they starred as Annie). How ironic. I wish I could be a redhead.

I was watching Alton Brown of Good Eats tonight and he was talking about water. He drew a molecule and it was in the shape of Mickey ears! Of course I was the only one in the room to see it.

I like Jimmy Buffet. He started the Save the manatee Club with a former governor of florida! After swimming with them I just love them!!!!!!! they are like big puppy dogs in water! Too cute!!!!!!

. My dh hoped that after our 2004 cruise things would be over. that my relationship with the DIS would be minimized...does it look like I minimized any? I'm at 4,500 posts!

But now we have a reunion cruise to plan!

I was under the weather all night thursday and all day/night friday 102.5 temp..sore throat etc.. All my kids had it earlier in the week,and I laid with them when they were not feeling well,so i am not surprised I got it too. My temp is gone, so hopefully i have six hours to come up with something.. I can't believe how many pages you guys added since i logged off....

cool thanks! i love jimmy! there are 3 cheeseburgers in paradise close to me. if i remember right. i've been to the one just outside of baltimore. and then i think there's one in woodbridge, va (maybe) i know there's one in fredericksburg, va... i think cheeseburger in paradise is my favorite song of his. either that or the weather is here, wish you were beautiful...

How fun! Hard to say that a marathon would be fun. What's the event like? What do they do for you guys/gals? What about where you run around at? Do you run around the park? the property?

haha yeah those whole last 8 miles hurt incredibly bad. i was in pain like i'd never known before, and i used to be a 200 butterflyer. so i would swim entire practices butterfly, and they don't touch the pain i was in. all i could think was get me to the finish line and i'm never ever doing it again. it was on a sunday and for the rest of that day and all through monday i thought, nope never again. got home from disney monday night. tuesday morning woke up to go to work and before i left i signed up for the next one...

it's fun in a sick twisted demented sort of way. but then again like i said i was a 200 butterflyer, so i'm not happy unless i'm torturing my body and putting myself through 'satisfying' pain...

the event itself is really cool. the whole weekend is marathon weekend. i think they start stuff on about thursday. there's whole big fitness expo that they run at the wide world of sports. that's where you have to go to check in and get your number and all your stuff you need. plus they have all kinds of marathon tshirts and stuff like that. they've started running the half marathon on saturday. and then the fully marathon on sunday. they used to run them both the same day. now that they're on separate days you get crazy people doing the 'goofy challenge' running the half on saturday and the full on sunday! it's crazy! it's really neat, i love how they have your name on the bib with your number so as you go running by people they yell for you even if they don't know you.

it's run over all of disney property. you run through all 4 parks. you start in epcot, run to and through the magic kingdom (my favorite part is running through cindy's castle), then you run down to and through animal kingdom and then over to mgm and back to epcot where the race finishes. you get to go in back entrances and stuff and see parts of the parks you might not otherwise see. and there are cm's and characters everywhere! you can stop and get your picture taken with almost any character you can think of! it's so much fun! i'll add the link to the page with all the info and everything. there's a course map on there so you can see where all it's run. the worst part is the stretch from magic kingdom to animal kingdom... you run by the sewage plant... smells so bad. they say it's so bad back there that the pace picks up pretty good

I would so be an annual pass holder if I lived close to Disney. Even like a six hour car ride or something I could do alone with the girls.

hehehe i live in maryland and until may i had an annual pass... boy it got used. i let it run out though and i'm getting another one in september. i didn't renew it in may cause i knew i wouldn't be back until september...

My memory is real foggy right now, but didn't you just see it again?

i saw it again, thursday night... i saw it opening night, 7/7, then 7/8, then 7/14, then 7/21 and then 7/27... hehe me thinks i have a problem...

oooo i love boomerang! they show all kinds of good old cartoons! it's a cartoon network channel. not sure if it's on cable or not. we have satellite so that's how we get it...
