I've read on other threads that it will most likely be playing until the 3rd one is released. I have my heart set on seeing it on board, I hope that's true!

about your friend recognizing the Flying Dutchmen after seeing it on CC. Many of us will recognize it after seeing it in the movie.

hehe yeah i was waiting for the whole movie for her to recognize it. i think it was when will swims towards it after the ship he was on gets attacked by the kraken when my friend looked at me and said, hey! hehe. it was funny

i ended up not having time yesterday. trying to meet my mom for lunch and then there was a problem at one of the bars i had to go fix that took a little longer than i thought it would take. and there isn't a target near arundel mills in baltimore where i ended up last night. but i will get there hopefully sometime today. might be hard to do though! might just have to wait till tomorrow.

yeah i'm definitely bringing mine i think. i don't plan on packing tons of stuff. i learned last september that i don't need very many clothes as i spent almost the entire cruise in just my suit. and i had a thing for not wearing shoes. the only time i wore shoes was on key west and to dinner. the rest of the time i went barefoot or in socks. that was fun, going down to the movie theater in socks. hehehe. so there should be plenty of room for my mask and snorkel!

Let us know about the boots. Any link to a picture on line?
about the socks I live in Tevas and am seriously considering not bringing any shoes at all, just black tevas for dress and designed (black-blue-purple) for every day. I like tevas for travel as I can take them off at the security check and put them on when I am through the scanner. My feet are dirty anyway.

Wearing sneakers bugs me as after walking through the scanner my sox are dirty and I don't want to put dirty sox in the clean shoes. Sometimes when I travel in the winter I put on two pair of sox and when I am through the scanner I take off the top pair.

Here's the deal. You can visit Atlantis and use the entire hotel except the aquarium (have to pay admission fee), the pools (yes plural) and the beach. Go to DCL, the beach excursion itself if very expensive. The Atlantis aquarium is too. If you get a room you have access to all of it. If I wasn't swimming with the Dolphins I would go with you. $150 is a great deal for 4 ppl (max in a room) The pools have waterslides. One of the slides is enclosed and you slide through the shark tank (from the aquarium) If you have the cash I would go for it. It is an amazing resort. The food is expensive so I wouldn't eat there. Not sure the cost of getting from the ship to the hotel. You could always bring snacks with you.

Drat! I assumed you could see the aquarium too. Big bummer.

DH seems to enjoy it and one of the Doctors at work like it too! I want to wait until DD can do it too!

i say do it! it's so much fun and i haven't even gone anywhere cool yet! although since i'm probably not diving till december i might dive at the aquarium in baltimore before hand. or maybe since i'll be down at disney the end of september i could dive at epcot... hmmm, but i'm only there for the weekend so i might not want to take away from riding the rides! i haven't ridden any of them since january!!

I hear ya!!!!!! When DD was 2 we watched Cinderella every night for 6 months. It got to the point where we could spot some mistakes in the animation! Then she switched to Sleeping Beauty. DD likes all the princesses but I think Ariel a little more!!!

We went through the same thing... first it was Aurora, then Cindy, then Jasmine (cause she wears a "belly" shirt as DD used to say)... now it's Ariel all the way. Who can keep up??!

Have you seen the cute new jeans at the Disney store? They have little princess charms hanging off them, and the layered look long sleeved tops with each princess on them. Very cute!

tevas are good i got some in key west last september on the dvc cruise
i will bring flip flops... nice shoes for dinner and my running shoes. since i have to run on the ship so i don't get out of shape. got this silly little marathon to train for
yeah the socks were great. i was just like no i'm not wearing shoes anymore. i have nice fuzzy socks for walking around in now. so i'm bringing those...

Oh, I think I read too quick, I put "visit Atlantis" in with the bought the room catagory b/c I thought the only way to visit the pools is to stay there (Atlantis or Comfort suites). So, by paying for 1 night (unlikely to see the room with 4pm checkin but, whatever), I'll be able to see the aquarium too? Thanks for the info, I jumped w/o a lot of research b/c a call to find out if kids were allowed with double occupancy promo lingo turned into making reservations.

ps If a party of 2 or 3 books this deal you might want to fyi some family of 5's on this thread who aren't going b/c of the extra kid. I don't think its any extra cost to add a young kid to reservation. I guess you'd have to show up together at checkin, anyhow, just a thought.

We bring our own so we can use them at Serenity Bay and on excursions. They do take up luggage space though.

I keep reading that you shouldn't bring fins, only bring mask & snorkel. The fins take up the most room so I may leave those home and follow the DISfolk recommendations. Not sure....

Thanks for the link to the boots. I have not opened my e-mail today, been checking this thread and trying to stay caught up. We had a power flicker this morning and all my saved webpages were gone so I have to start collecting them all over again today. FUDGE.
