Why can I not find a pair of nice navy blue (non-denim) shorts. a range of khaki colors yes but no navy. aaargh

Haha.. I guess I'm not used to being an adult.. which is silly because i've pretty much handled everything and taken care of ymself since i got a job..

guess it'll finally hit me later and i'll be like
"well huh. when did that happen??"

You know, it took me 31 years to finally feel like an adult. It wasn't after I graduated, it wasn't after I got my first "real job", it wasn't after I bought my first car, it wasn't after I got married, it wasn't after we bought our first home.

You know when it was? When we had to replumb the house. And even then it didn't last very long!

Maybe when I have kids I'll feel like an adult?

I don't know, I've been a mom 15 years and I still don't feel like an adult! LOL I'm thankful that my mom is in my life but she can make me feel like a 10 year old in seconds flat.

Last year I did all my wife's clothes shopping ( Mother's day surprise) for our cruise and she took none of it back and liked just about everything...

I like to think I am versitile........

WOW.
THAT is impressive! I think my DH could get me a t-shirt here, a pair of shorts there, but I'm pretty sure that if he did all of my shopping I would have to return 50% of it.

I have to admit that it would be no fault of his own.....(a) my tastes are sometimes hard to pin down and (b) he is colorblind.

A little better, but still icky

I'm finding it hard to sit and rest - I look around and I'm like let me just do these dishes real quick or might as well do some laundry or there's dust on the table!

The only reason I'm still sitting right now is because Noggin is being all super snuggly with my feet. He keeps looking up at me like "why are you not petting me?"
