You guys are so hard to keep up with :rotfl2: I'm having to sneek in peeks and posts between my "other" life.

Welcome to our newest poster! Glad to have you aboard.

Vicki had to run earlier but wanted to say that Amanda definitely doesn't need friends like that mean little girl. :goodvibes

Very nice...but it doesn't make my life very easy, does it? That's four single posts, and I only have one single link in my signature... :sad2: And after all of your eBay talk earlier forced me to go there and buy some pins for trading...

Meanie. :rotfl2:

can we bring microwave popcorn onboard and have them pop it? its highly unlikely that I'd want to eat it, but just in case I get my craving...I gotta have my fix.

Its tough getting four posts in a row around here! Posting day and night night and day... So, I'm trying something new. I'll have to take a look at your siggy. I turned the siggy option off so I can read more posts at a time. :surfweb:

Jan, do the Tevas have arch support? I have high arches, and I'd be grateful to be able to find sandals that I could wear.

Dawn
No arch supports like shoes have but the soles are squishy so they are comfortable for me. I suggest you call around to sporting good stores and see if someone carries them. I got my first pair at the store that sells everything from shot guns and bass boats to milk and cereal. I wore them around the store for a while before deciding to keep them.
Best wishes,
Jan :earsgirl:

My daughter's imaginary friend is a hand-me-down from her brother...no joke, when she got old enough, they BOTH started playing with my son's imaginary friend, and then when my son got too old for him, she kept him.

Dawn
Very cute. Nice to know DD does not abandon "family". I still think it is a sign of creativity. Not that kids who don't have an imaginary friend are not creative, just a different kind of creativity and I admire your willingness to accept this in your kids.

hey quick question, kind of stupid, but is there a formal night on the 4 night cruises?

oh ya, tieras and every thing. make sure to bring your gloves, red rose, glass slippers, non poisoned apple, and leave your spindle at home. sea shell top optional jk!

My daughter spent the weekend telling everyone around that she was going to order bacon and hot chocolate EVERY DAY on the cruise because she could have whatever she wanted. :rotfl: Those are items she loves, but doesn't get too often, I guess.

Dawn
I hate cooking bacon because I always splatter myself. If I am dressed, I have grease spots on my clothes and if I am only partially dressed, it hurts. I have found precooked bacon by Oscar Mayer!! :cool1: what a way to go!! :thumbsup2 Take a couple slices out of the package, lay them on the plate, pop into the microwave and VIOLA!! BACON!! No spots on my clothes! since it is pre-cooked I can chop it for salad or eat it as is, but DH likes his hot with omlet for breakfast.

Did you see the junior stuff online?
Not sure but I know that at WDW, at that store by Pirates of the Caribbean, I wanted to get a woman's pirate t-shirt and they were teeny tiny. I ended up finding one XXL I think, that was doable for me. The Disneyshopping.com site has some new women's pirate shirts, they looked like a similar cut. That cap sleeved, baby t style. Check it out. Also, they have a new line, I think in the stores and online, Disney Couture (sp), which looks like a smaller cut...not that huge boxy t-shirt style. http://disneyshopping.go.com/DSSectionPage.process?Merchant_Id=2&Section_Id=11875&Product_Id=194693

Go swimming with me, and you'll blend right in. :thumbsup2 No one will notice you. :rotfl:

:grouphug: I'm trying to stay off my soapbox, but I just have to say that I hate how society takes a beautiful woman and makes her feel bad for being overweight. :grouphug:

Dawn
I second the motion :thumbsup2 Or am I so late that by now it is 13th-ing or 27th-ing the motion? WHATEVER!! I'm with you SISTER!

Sadly, we had kids like that in my DD's KINDERGARTEN class! Honestly! One had her hair streaked with different colors, and many were chasing the boys trying to kiss them. We had one girl (who is signed up to model...WHATEVER!) tell another that she wore ugly clothes and the kid went home to her mother crying that she wasn't pretty and a model like the other girl. It's really pathetic! :sad2:
Can you imagine what their mothers are saying to them or the other kids in the fashion shows or pagents? They HAVE to be getting this from someone! Reminds me of the song from SOUTH PACIFIC--"You've got to be taught, to hate all the people your relatives hate, you've got to be carefully taught...."
The last bastion of permissible prejudice??? weight.
