Disney Wonder Sept 3-7,2006 Part 2

Take pics of everything Patsy! It's soooo much fun!!! The best part is, it just keeps getting better and better!! :lovestruc

I would go snap some pictures right this second if I didn't have all the baby stuff at the other house!!

Tom went to work on it while I get to rest and "grow his son" :rotfl: He's such a dork!

I've done good, I think- people told me I'll get a lot of newborn-3 months so anything I see that I LOVE I've been getting in 3-6 months or bigger. I have one jumper in 24 months that was 3.99 and adorable. :rotfl:

I bought them a "Babys First Christmas" outfit at Pennys yesterday for $4!!

Good grief, I need the next 142 days to happen so I can tickle me some baby feet! :woohoo:

I am so excited! I want to go shopping again today and look at little clothes and shoes and hats and OH MY! Old Navy had SWIM TRUNKS on clearance but I figure this summer is too soon. :goodvibes

Tom promised me the nursery is the next room to get done-- I'm excited to get in there, get the small stuff done, get it painted, get the floors done and get my furniture assembled and start putting stuff where I want it and putting the little clothes in the closet and stuff!! Mostly the blue jean overalls I bought, they are SO adorable!!

He is over the moon. He didn't want a little girl. :sad1: He said they were too much extra money (things like bras, sanitary items, and even their clothes are more expensive than boys :rotfl: ) and we can't afford it right now. I don't think he realized that they don't cost all that much extra when they're little, it's later. :rolleyes1

Oh well. He is happy to have a little boy. He said he won't worry so much about knowing what to do and everything and so it'll eliminate some of the stress.

He even liked looking at the little clothes! He helped me pick out a little hat. I might take a picture of some of the stuff I got, it's so CUTE! I figure since the baby will be born in June, they'll need something to protect their head from the sun!

I want to go out shopping again, dangit!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

dressing a boy is so much easier than a girl. My girls are already take little divas with their hair and such. Ds could pull on a ripped pair of jeans, a t-shirt and go. Its funny how my ds gets irritated with his sisters when it comes to primping. I think when your first princess comes he'll change his mind about a girl. she'll have him around his fingers in a heart beat, just like your little prince does now.

Great shopping deals! Its great to buy now while things are clearancing. You are very wise about getting bigger clothes. You'll get lots of 0-3 or 3-6,but the older sizes are what get used longer. I love the snap crotch overalls, they're so easier to deal with. Plus when you need to redirect your son/dd into another direction, you just grab them by the X part of the overalls like a lion cub or kitten. DH did that all the time with our little ones. True story.

I'm going to try and rest before the game in a little bit. go grow your boy Patsy, excuse my typing, I'm typing in the dark with frozen fingers.

Lisa, you got a prediction??

Heidi? Vicki?

I think this is fun, but I'm a freak and on a baby high!

Sorry I was away and I already know the answer...somehow I think it would be unfair to *guess* now?:confused3 :rotfl:
But honestly I don't know enough about anything to make a prediction!:rotfl:

We got our flight for our trip to the San Juan Islands!!! Cant wait!!!

Oh...my...gosh!!! That is AMAZING Vicki, I am SOOOO JEALOUS!!! You'll have oodles of fun!:goodvibes

Today is our Anniversary 23 years! We were going to go out to dinner but then they (again) issued a Winter Weather Warning! It was suppose to be really bad (and again we didnt get anything they called for) But we decided because it was supppose to be bad that a Jammie day sounded good. Then we decided on the menu-a bottle of Eiswein from Disney-a turkey breast(from Market day) Stove top stuffing (cranberries) Hashbrown casserole, bread, and glazed apple and cranberries!

Congratulations, Vicki!!!:goodvibes It's too bad about the dinner though.:guilty: Same SORT of thing happened to my parents for Christmas. Holly's gift to them was a dinner at this place called Ruth's Chris Steakhouse in Bethesda. It's an expensive restaurant and if I remember correctly my parents have not eaten there before. Well...instead of bad weather, my mom had had adverse reactions to a dental appointment...:scared1: ...and could barely open her mouth to speak let alone EAT!! So Holly had to cancel the Christmas eve reservations and has to set up a different day for them to go.

it's a ...

BOY!!!!

  :cloud9: :dance3: :cool1: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :yay: :woohoo:

I'll get my ultrasound pics on here in a minute.

They found all 4 chambers of the heart, the 3 cords (something about an umbilical cord) etc, and said everything looked PERFECT!
He's a wiggler and stuck his tongue out at us, too!!! :lovestruc

and my due date went up 6 days!! I like moving ahead!

Congratulations, Patsy!!!!:goodvibes You must be sooo excited knowing what you are going to have.

Oh well. He is happy to have a little boy. He said he won't worry so much about knowing what to do and everything and so it'll eliminate some of the stress.

Funny thing is...when my mom asked my dad if he was disappointed that I turned out to be a girl and not a boy...my dad said no. And that he wouldn't know how to take care of a little boy!!!:rotfl:
I think he might have had the same time reaction about asking if he had hoped Kayla (my niece) would be a boy. But I may be mixing and matching memories on that one...

Tom's so excited. And there is definitely no doubt, from that picture (and what we saw) that it's a boy in there.

I really liked her, when he started moving really hard she'd let up a little and say "What you're feeling, is the baby" and now I keep catching little movements here and there. It felt earlier like he did a whole body flip. So exciting.
Tom kissed my tummy last night and said "Goodnight Lucas"
Too cute! :lovestruc

It is. I just know when he gets bigger, it's going to be uncomfortable. Ultrasound lady said she could just tell, too!
She said they don't normally calm down, they get more active. And boy is he active! :goodvibes

Those are some of the best pre baby moments. Are you putting headsets over your tummy and playing mp3 or calm ipod or disney music?

Those twists and squirms are going be interesting when he gets bigger. Remember me begging my OB almost in tears to induce me?

VICKI- did you and hubs do anything for your anniversary? I've totally spaced it if you already said something about it, my apologies.
