I want to! Thats the thing about marriage... I can't just take off without him.... Especially since I'm not really working right now

He's still adjusting to being "home". We're only four days into this one and he's itching to go home.
I can't really understand it (and he's not an expert at explaining it) but right now he likes it at home more than anywhere else. I've mentioned cruising before but he's apprehensive about being on a ship and says its because of service-related stuff, but I don't get it because this war he served in was in the desert.

Oh well. I told him he needs therapy to get over this vacation fear!

It's nice he likes to be home best because that shows how important you and the marriage are to him.

HEY!! maybe that would work. Tell him that a VACATION WITH YOU is as good as being HOME WITH YOU.

Seriously, if you can get him to figure it out, he'll see that the WITH YOU is the important part.

What is wrong with these boys?! Seriously?!

I'm going back to Orlando in two weeks, I'm already pumped!

Of course this one is with my mother.. and only for three days, not a week. I'll take however much sunshine I can get, though!

Unfortunately, classes start Monday... and the bank I used to work for (the one that had me bouncing between three branches working tons of hours and then laid me off) has offered me a position I can't refuse at the only branch in the area I haven't worked at!
However, my assistant manager will be my old favorite co-worker from when I was first hired and my branch manager will be my old assistant manager that I loved. None of the people that made me want to hit my head on a wall!
It'll mean driving 30-40 minutes one way to Ohio but they're upping the hourly wage to cover the gas since they don't have to train me. It'll be weird working a steady job again, but we're super-excited to get a mortgage discount and start seriously house hunting!

I went to the doctor yesterday for a medication review! My cholesterol has come down so far that he agreed to HALVE my Lipitor dose! He says that at the rate that I'm going, I might be off Lipitor by THE END OF THE YEAR!!!

I have 2 little patches- maybe the size of a quarter-of poison ivy on my arm!! They itch sooooooooooooooooo bad!!!!!!! The doctor at work yesterday kept yelling at me to stop scratching!! I said But it's itchy! That's what I get for pulling weeds!

My brother sent me a text this afternoon that said "Theres a storm a brewin'... Faye is on the way!"

I stared, very confused, at my phone and then started laughing my butt off.

It is SO NASTY outside right now. The dog won't even pee!

They do that weird crap up here, too.

They closed the college campus last year because there was a "winter advisory" with the anticipation of LOTS of black ice.

Then they left the campus open the week there was the huge blizzard that killed Cleveland and made the roads so bad here, Tom and I couldn't go anywhere without fishtailing from the ice and snow.

Makes no sense. I think whoever makes those calls flips a coin!

How horrible of a daughter does it make me that I forgot that my mother (2x breast cancer survivor) had a lump removed from her chest today?

I somehow missed this earlier.. but I can emphasize with you! My right leg, below the knee, got TWENTY bug bites the night Tom and I spent in Cocoa Beach.

I do not have a bite anywhere else on my body but the lower half of my right left. It's driving me batty!
