Disney Wonder Sept 3-7,2006 Part 2

We stayed there on Amanda firsttrip. Its huge and really nice! you can see the fireworks from Epcot!

:thumbsup2

At Caribbean Beach?

We've always stayed at Pop, which I think is pretty close to Caribbean Beach..

Heck, I don't know. That whole place is huge. I plan on getting Tom lost in all of it here in about a week and a half... :rolleyes1

Yep! It was really nice! I liked it and would stay there again.

I've read about the hammocks on here.
I think I'd dig those! ;)

They were. They were on the beach! It was a really nice hotel. It is so bi it has its own internal bus. We stayed in the Trindad section right next to the Food court. We wanted to stay in Aruba-which is across the bridge from the food court-because it is pink and Amanda wanted to stay in the pink building but it was full. We had a corner room. Really nice!!!!

Ohh.. the names alone are talking me into it.

... and on another, exciting, note.. I get to go to the bakery in three hours and try samples of delicious cake for the reception! YUM!;) I didn't know they did that!

 Haven't you seen Runaway Bride?! She tries lots of cakes!:rotfl: How else are you supposed to know which cake is good enough for your wedding??:rotfl: :upsidedow

Of course I've seen Runaway Bride! Her dad in that movie was my grandpa's best friend- I have a picture of the two of them in high school on my fridge! :goodvibes

I only thought it was BIG city bakeries though or in the movies. Never imagined that a small town bakery would give me samples. YUMMY! I'm excited.

So I realize I run here when the going gets tough and I've got a lot on my mind but I also realize that is probably because it's easy to be honest with you guys, where I don't really have that in my day-to-day life... so when stuff is filling and overflowing in my head this is where I go.

Anyone here get false negative pregnancy tests before? :confused3

For the last 3 1/2 weeks I've had my mind full of "What if?" and "Oh crap" because I don't have insurance anymore and with birth control the lovely lady friend has always been like clockwork...

I'm sorry Patsy, but I had a false negative with my first baby. I hope everything works out for you.

I cant remember if I told you that Amanda and I were taking French 1. We finished Monday and had a dinner with the class at a French Restaurant-Le Pommier. It was reallly good!!!!!! We are going to take French 2 which starts in Sept. We have to miss the first class because we have tickets to Wicked.

32 more days till our cruise!!!!! Wish you guys were going to be there.:grouphug:

Sooooo jealous...my whole family wants to see Wicked.

That was my hope initially. Now Tom's all "Well.. my mom would love us if we had a baby." I was like, :scared1: TOO SOON!

I think it's the age difference doing that to us- he's closer to 30 and I'm closer to 20.. either way I don't think I could handle work (start Wed.), full-time college (18 credit hours) and buying a house while I'm pregnant! :headache:  :sad2: :scared:

Anywho, I'm going to pick up the college insurance. It'll start August 12th so if nothing else by then it'll be 2 missing and a good reason to see a doctor, I think!

Patsy, if it's any comfort, most doctors won't even blink if you miss three periods. I used to have two periods a YEAR until just before I got pregnant the second time. Please do keep an eye on it though--if you don't have one at least every three months it significantly increases your chances of uterine cancer, which not every doctor will tell you. No one EVER worried about my lack of periods, which makes me angry; in addition to the cancer risk, it was a symptom of a medical condition which wasn't diagnosed for twenty years after I started showing symptoms!

I'm sorry Patsy, but I had a false negative with my first baby. I hope everything works out for you.

Thanks. I'm going to some Woman's Care place Wednesday for a blood test. Should give me some piece of mind while I'm out of town to know one way or the other, but if it's negative, too, I've got an appointment to see my MD for a regular old "Whats wrong with me" appointment in September! :goodvibes

I've never missed like this before, so I suppose that is the most frustrating thing.
I knew they happened. I know several people, now that I've been asking, that have had it happen to them. 99.9% reliable my Aunt Fannie! :rotfl:

Did you know Wicked was touring?
http://wickedthemusical.com/#WickedCitiesOnTour

I did not!

But I went to the website...and the two closest cities are still a full day's drive away from me. :sad2: Do you think I can convince my hubby that it's worth the gas?

Hmm. I don't know! Gas IS getting cheaper!!! Any good restaurants or other things you could visit to make a mini-vacation out of it? ;)

We're going to Pittsburgh, up by Vicki, to see it in September! Very excited! :goodvibes

What date are you going?

Cake yum!!!!!

Yep! This is our cake:
King_and_Queen.jpg

The bottom layer will be plain chocolate, the middle layer will be yellow and the top DARK CHOCOLATE! :lovestruc

Only difference is instead of yellow, it'll be royal blue to match the sash in my dress and the thing on top that looks like it's spilling won't be there: it'll be the four cards designs, a club, a heart, a spade and a diamond. Topper will be poker chips, dice and cards!

Well at least I got one piece of good news. I had interviewed at Mercy Hospital in the ER 6 weeks ago an d havent heard anything. Well they came today and said that they were going to offer me the job but HR told them to hold off. Anyway I have a job at Mercy Hospital in the ER once this place closes.
As for the other problem Hr told me he wants to talk with the Supervisor who was on that night. BUt I get the impression hopefully that the final written warnign will be changed. I will know something next week.
