Disney Wonder - October 14, 2012 - Hawaii

I
I copied your self proclaimed title...I thought!;)

Maybe I should take up coffees to get those neuron firing. :thumbsup2

It was. :guilty: I just put the emphasis on the wrong word. "Master List" Chief vs Master "List Chief".

I should probably wait until after my first cup before trying to read things too. :surfweb:

Maybe this will help. As explained by my wife who does quilting and purchases "lots" of fabric.

They print the fabric in "panels" where each panel had enough material for one shirt (sized from xtra-small to XXL) which is why all shirts are the same price as they all use the same amount of material.

When we order our shirts and fabric I will request from Becky that our fabric order is in panels not yards. I need to call Becky and check if they can extend the panel from selvedge to selvedge but kinda doubt it as they are a shirt company and not a fabric company.

Remember, we need 50 shirts per color in order to have access to the fabric and 10 shirts per size. Since most Hawiian type shirts are meant as a kinda like a very light jacket, ordering a size larger than usual might not hurt if that gets us past the minimum number per size.

Here is a picture of Bob in a sample shirt they sent me. Bob is 6'4" 245 and the shirt he has on is a 2XL. It is very roomy and long.

:dance3:

Another quiet week here. I sure hope the weather and the awful illness have not been a bother to you all.

Ia m working on some planning (yes I am sure that is a shock). Was wondering how many folks are interested in pineapple plantation tour?

Hope you two are doing well. Sorry we won't be joining you. Bob looks good. My best to you both.

Finally got my air.. now I should really start looking for excursions.. or things to do while on this vacation.. can't book Disneyland for a bit longer.. (DVC points).. anyone already started w/excursions yet? Please share.. would love to have ideas..:cool1:

Booked flights this morning. :yay: Decided to go a few days early and do DL. Need to wait for dvc points to book room as well. Been working on my FE gifts. Looked over excursions :surfweb: and haven't made up our minds yet. Have a few favorites we'll see.

Still looking at flights from Cleveland, OH to either LAX or Las Vegas (and then drive) ! I want to book because then it's really REAL !! Keeping our eyes on costs and hoping the flights go down. For those that recently booked, are you getting good prices? What's the earliest people are booking the return flight?

We have our first and second choice excursions picked out...they'll probably change as we get closer. We have 2 cabins booked; each cabin has a Gold and a silver in them so we'll be curious to see how we're able to book excursions since I've gotten mixed reports on how it will/should work.

Booked our return flight for 1:45 pm. The only other option was for 11:40 am :scared1: to book the early flight. We'll just take our time at breakfast and relax at the airport.

We now have four cruising as we have just adopted a girl, many of you know her already, her name is Shellie May. We now have myself Brian, Marsha, DS Duffy and DD Shellie May. :)

Don't know her, but congrats to you and your family.

We have picked our excursions. Or should I say I picked several. We will meet as a group to decide in April. I'm really interested in some of those private tours. I was thinking oh looking into them on my own. I like the idea of getting to experience some of the less touristy places. We did it in Spain and Portugal and it was amazing. I am still hoping we will get to experience a luau. Not the end of the world if we don't. I guess it could be an excuse to go back. Lol.

Well we are off to Snowshoe WV, for what should be a good weeken of fresh powder, to ski/snowboard. I'll check back in when we come down mountain as we get very limited service there.

Have a great weekend everyone.

I keep wondering if they are going to change the times for us like they did for the April group.. and that would change my ideas on excursions..

FYI for those not familiar with the Disney Bears, their names are Duffy and Shellie May, they originated from the Tokyo Disney Resort. We have one of each, they are our "pretend" children as we have them with us on all of our Disney trips. Inside Tokyo Disney Sea park they are more popular then Mickey, just about everyone in the park carries their bear with them!
