I am thinking.....fly friday early and go to Disneyland halloween party that night, then sat do both parks, Sunday breakfast and off to port via disney transportation. I am thinking of staying on site..

Our plans exactly! Great minds think a like.

We booked this cruise while on the Wonder as she sailed south from Vancouver to Los Angeles. I just happened to go to the booking desk the day it opened up for Platinum and Gold members and jumped on it when the CM let me know about it.

We are Michael and Marc, US expats now living in central Mexico, San Miguel de Allende. We were glad to hear about this cruise because while we wanted to do the April jaunt, it was much too close to the Fantasy MV to do both so close. It sounds like we'll be seeing some of you on the Fantasy, too!

I was reading about Karmel Shuttle. They offer an 8-10 person van for $103; this is definitely a savings over doing DCL (which I'm guessing is the standard $35pp). Depending on where folks are staying, I'd be interested in sharing.

we just heard about this cruise being added last week, while on board on the magic for 7 days. I called today & booked, using DVC points. Now I dont have to worry about banking any points for next year! Is anyone else using DVC pts?

Typically we do them on points, but this time we are using cash and paying for it by renting the points. We'll see how that works...

sounds great.. we should be somewhere on DL property.. there are 2 of us..

Count us as another one has rented points for cash to pay for a cruise. We went through a company to do it though, I was just not up for the hassle and risks of doing it ourselves.
Not sure we'll have the points to rent this time. We've been using all of ours for two-night getaways at the Grand Californian every quarter or so.

Just switched to this cruise from the April one. I'm a bit sad to be changing, but it was best for all of us. It will be me and two of my sons (25 and 26) by the time we sail. I'm so thrilled they still want to be my travelling companions (but who knows what changes might be in store after a whole year!)

I'll try to catch up with the thread in the next few days. Just wanted to let you all know we're in and very excited to be going!

Here also a mother traveling with my son of 25. He is on the board too (Paul123). He was the one that started to look for cruises and we are just back from our first one the WBTA and enjoyed it so much that we going next year with this one.

haven't started planning Hawaii yet, but have what were are doing before pretty much planned out. What is everyone doing?

Also I cant wait to see what Disney is offering and prices for their excursion in April.. hoping that will give me a clue on how to go.. Also hope they change our times like they did the cruise in April.. would love to stay on the islands longer..

Had to share my fish extender. I found someone on Etsy, ilvdisney2008, to make it. We found an awesome Hawaiian shirt on ebay for the top pocket and the Mickey head and used Ariel for my daughter's pocket. (this is my first time sharing photos, so hopefully it works)

Hi all. We received our confirmation letter in the mail this week, so now we can officially say we're in! It'll be myself (Kevin), Danny (DW), Moni (DMiL), Cydnee (DD-5), and Delina (DD-3). It will be the second cruise for all of us, and our second time aboard the Wonder! We're interested in the joining the fish extender exchange, and I would love for someone to send me more information about the postcard list and candy exchange (although I'm guessing the candy one is self explanatory!).
