Disney Wonder - October 14, 2012 - Hawaii

I used an "Apple computer" at work 1990-93, then had a Mac Performa at home 1994 - ? before switching to a laptop PC. Now on a desktop Mac at home, so much easier.

The old original Macs I used at work until I bought my first MacSE, since then I have had more than I want to count (while at work, I forced to use a PC for normal work, but use a Solaris Unix box for real work).

The websites I am hosting are actually on my new 2011 mac mini...

Mike, do you think we could add a column for those who are interested in group brunch at Palo? Thanks for the work on keeping the list by the way.
Sherri
ps, please put us on that list.

Has anyone participated in dis meets on other cruises? I never have. Any thoughts on which were the most fun and/or successful?

Yes I have many times.. we did DIS meets, lanyards, 2 cruises we did wristbands, Palo dinner and brunch..PJ breakfast, ladies lunch, mickey hunts, hidden Mickey tours, scrapbooking, room tours..etc..
I like to do a PALO brunch so I get to go to one, on the alaska cruise I handed out LGMH at the DIS meet on the first day, instead of lanyards.

all fun.. each group does what is best for them..

How about this, I'll add a column for Palo, Remy, Shirts. Might need to start using abbreviations to make all the columns fit.

New question:

Should we turn the Exchange list into a Roll Call and included everyone and just use the checkmarks to reflect the exchanges (as long as we try to keep the column count down)?

That would mean one web page, one list to view..... (while I grow my excel/website skills trying to keep it all together.. :) )

that would be really helpful to have them all in one place as there are lots of folks that would love to do a Palo brunch..

Unless someone knows something I don't ...

Whoops... You're right... Guess I am too ready for my Dream cruise in 3 wks... :goodvibes

Guess, that what happens when you're on five cruise threads at the same time... But, one can't go on too many Disney cruises.... (well, the buget can, but I can't) :rotfl:

Swapped out the Remy for a 3-col Palo (Tea, Brunch, Dinner)....

Oooooo....one stop shopping! I like it!:thumbsup2

Around 50 years old, hair/eye color unimportant. Obviously, he needs to like cruising. I guess he'll be from London or Seattle if he's got an umbrella - although it does rain in Hawaii (while the sun is still shining - hence, the beautiful rainbows). :goodvibes

LOL Maybe Hawaiian?? Rainbows? Really? Just how wonderful IS this place?!?!:rotfl:

I don't think you put it in your signature block. Select "User CP" from the blue strip at the top of the page, go down to "Edit Signature" and paste your string of code in the typing area. You can preview it before you save it. Then it should be on your posts.

Thank you so much again. I never ever would have figured that one out. I really am smarter that this whole ticker ordeal has made me sound.

Can anyone tell me how many Brunches and High Teas Palos would offered for a trip like this? Are you allowed to book more than once?

Sounds great

Typically, only on sea days, so with this cruise a lot.

1. There's a reason they call it Paradise.

2. Next step: mastering quotes and multi-quotes. :goodvibes These forums are a world of skills all their own.

3. One brunch, one tea and one dinner booked online pre-cruise per person.

They are offered on all Sea Days, so we should have lots of options. However, tea has very few tables open - they just keep it small, so you may not get in.

Once onboard, you can check for a second opportunity (and possibly/probably get it) for brunch or dinner.

Now we're talking!

The odds of having a Tea in Palo are slim-to-none. They don't do the private dining room and only have a dozen or so tables in use - and then, only one seating. We really got our hopes up on this idea for the WBTA, but couldn't get it work out. I haven't heard of this being successfully negotiated on any cruise. Might want to save the column for our next great idea (which I think I may mention in an upcoming post).

There's room on my website if you want to email me the file... ;)

The info is not in a "file," it's on a stickie on my computer screen - and now in a DISboard post. :goodvibes

I really am a Mac user; files are for "computer" people. I cut and paste and slide photos from websites to my desktop.

If you want a file, let me know what to do, otherwise, copy and paste away, fellow MAC user. I am here to help if able. (Basically, I am an info broker - I will read this forum and gather up tidbits for others to use)

I apologize for not including room numbers on the list, but that is sometimes a security issue on this open forum, especially when children are involved. And I list alphabetically, so a little more work for you.

Mike - please update the sheet to show us for main dining.

Also, put us down for a Palo brunch.

Thanks. :)

Ok.

In the last month (and still a year to go).. the FE list has evolved from being just an FE to an all inclusive Exchange list to now the all ALL Inclusive Roll Call or "What do we call it" list.

So, what should we call the one-stop-shopping List? Ideas Please

Roll Call
CofC - Cast of Characters.
The Wonderments
The Wonderists
The Crusin' Disneyoids
....

Now if you wish to be listed on this list. Please either post or PM or email me (trapper@mac.com) the needed info.

Column headers will tell you what is asked for. Ages are only for kids and are optional (Ages are used by some for FE-related gifts, and maybe kid meets).

Still working on Shirt info and learning web page creation for something other than just a excel page.
