Disney Wonder - October 14, 2012 - Hawaii

I think the easiest way I've seen is to have a Lanyard team to contribute to the cost and then make them available to everyone for free.

Lanyards are fun, someone made them up for the inaugural Alaskan cruise and we would love them here to...

So, who is the mysterious Lanyard team that will be paying for everyone's lanyard?

I made Option #1a,b,c (of many) lanyard name tag inserts:

I know it doesn't list the ship, the dates, or any of the ports. Just having a bit of fun to keep the spirit of Aloha going.

The Lanyard Team is made of those who pitch in about $20-25 to cover the costs of lanyards to be supplied free of charge to everyone. One lanyard is a few dollars. This would include the plastic badge/name tag holder and the printed lanyard.

If we don't want to be really inventive, we could even use the "Sail Away to Hawai'i" wording on the retro ship graphic. Add the date, "Disney Wonder," and, voila, lanyard wording. Throw in a hibiscus for a decorative divider.

We can play around with the retro ship graphic and add more cruise specific info for tee shirts and such.

And there's always a chance somebody with graphic skills will come along and make us a great logo.

So does that mean you are not doing the Fantasy MV or still going and just ignoring the thread (PS. we are doing both the Fantasy MV and this one)?

So, they are reversing the order. Great, we had gotten a port side cabin in order to get island views. Now, we will be on the sea side...

Oh, well better the sea side than no side.. :lmao:

WE are on the Fantasy MV too. AWESOME!!

Lynne,
We you on the May 31 Alaskan? I thought I recognized your screen name. It was our first cruise so we didn't join the FE the last time and we were a few minutes late to the photo meet so I didn't get the chance to really get to know anyone. Looking forward to changing that this time.

Neither I nor my wife saw any differences in the three designs.

Yes, we were. As I was reading this thread last night, I kept thinking I needed to say "Hi" to you, specifically. I was the one who visited Avalon in April before our cruise.

You should have lots of choices of good postcards for your hometown. :thumbsup2

For those wanting a more "Disney" theme for name tags:
How can we pass up the opportunity to utilize Disney's Hawaii-themed characters?

Hi everyone! We're all excited about going on this cruise(except my niece- she doesn't know yet)!!It will be me, my sister, my niece(11 yrs. old), and my mom! My sister and I booked it on the 23rd while we were on the Dream. Will you please add us to the fee list?
Janice
Tammy(sister)
Disneyana(niece)
Betty(mom)

Did you do the EBTA '10 or the Med? I get them mixed up.

You needed a different code from the same page. Select the one for "PseudoHTML, UBBCode™ or BBCode - Used on many message boards that don't allow HTML."

Thank you so much. I will give it a try. I’m not very computer savvy.:surfweb: By the way, I love your name tags. :thumbsup2

Hi guys! A quick hello! So excited to be on this cruise!
This will be my/our third time on the Wonder. Our group will consist of me, my husband, and our son (who will be 9). We have five children, and this time we will only be bringing our youngest son, I guess I am thinking he can miss school?? Hope so! Really no one else can take care of him. The kid clubs are awesome! AND thank goodness for that since we will be cruising to celebrate our 25th Anniversary!!
Anyhow, we are doing the MR Holiday cruise as a family of seven, and then I am excited to enjoy this Hawaii cruise with a lighter load for our anniversary!!
:cool1:
I put in a request to join the FB group too. Looking fwd to meeting you all.

My son Trevor & I will be joining you all on this cruise. We rebooked while on the Wonder last week, originally planned to do the April sailing, but it seems those dates conflict with some of Trevors graduation activities....

Janice :cool1:

Cindy,

I have the info and will look into the shirts, but first it loks like the minimum order will be 50 shirts and/or 5 yds of material...

Currently, I have interest in 5 shirts (us, tablemates, and one other) and my wife would like fabric.

And we cruise together again.

Not sure I 'opted in' for the exchanges; so add me and hubby to any and all exchanges. (note to self - remember you did this). :)

Don and Barbara #5638 (I think - guess I should go check) :)

Is someone keeping track of the suggested dis activities in one place?

Has anyone participated in dis meets on other cruises? I never have. Any thoughts on which were the most fun and/or successful?

Hmmm..feeling sort of left out. :) Please add us to the exchanges. Thank you. :)
