Hi everyone,

My name is Sheila and this is my first post to this thread but I'm not new to DCL or the disboards. I've had this cruise booked since day 1 and will be cruising with DH and DD9. We live in the San Diego area and can't wait to cruise from our hometown. Our last cruise was the 2012 repositioning cruise from Vancouver to LA.

We have managed to keep this a surprise from DD even though she mentions more and more frequently how much she wants to go on a cruise again. We were going to wait until the day we leave to tell her but I think we have decided to see the ship off the week before and tell her then that we will be onboard the next week.

Does anyone know if there will be a formal or semiformal night on this cruise?

So excited to have found this community of future travelers on the Disney Wonder October 11th...my family and I did the Cruise to Nowhere in May of 2014 and it just was not enough time!
Since I'm new to this sort of blog...could someone tell me what DH, DD and such is. I'm assuming it's Disney Husband, Disney Daughter, etc. but just want to be sure!

Yes, DH DD DS DW, stand for Disney husband, daughter, son or wife OR anything that fits!! Sadly , an FE was not organized here on Disboards, there was one elsewhere (place can not be mentioned here) but it is closed now. Let me know your room number and I will be happy to add some pixie dust.

Kellie and I were able to get in to the FE about a month ago as, we had never heard of it before. The gifts that people give are so thoughtful. We are scrambling to make our gifts and are pretty stressed out but I think everyone goes through that, right?
