Oh my, I haven't used a forum board in ages! Did I really post two messages?! Sheesh! *randomly pushes buttons* what does this do?

soooo....I was confusing the "joined" date on CrispyCruiser's bio with the last posting date and I thought, "golly, these are some hardcore Mouseketeers booking their cruises 8 years in advance!" facepalm.

Hehehe! Hardcore, but not quite *that* hardcore ;)

This will be my family's first Disney cruise! We'd love to be a part of FE, how can we join in?

Thanks!
Welcome to the group AlltheWrightmoves!
:welcome::welcome::welcome:
I will add you to our roll call and group 4 FE.
And the double post was OK. It got you on the road to the 10 that are required before I can send you a private message (PM). And your going to want to be able to receive PM's. That is how I send you the list of information I need to get you on the FE spreadsheet.
Short little posts is all it takes. You are already at 3. All you need is 7 more.
Oh, and if you are interested in any of our planned activities, please let me know.

I was reviewing the activities but I'm not quite sure what they all mean. Might have to google "cabin crawl"..

How can I see who is in my group 4? I guess I'll know more when the spreadsheet arrives?
Currently, you can go to page 1 and look at the 1st post. Group 4 is near the end of the post.
You will be able to get more details about them when we can get you the spreadsheet.

A cabin crawl is basically a tour of all of the different cabins that sign up to take place. We are wanting to add a fun game in as well to liven it up.
Currently we have an inside, an ocean view handicap accessible, a few different ocean views, and a concierge level cabin.

AlltheWrightmoves - I am having trouble getting the PM to go through. Please look over these posts to see if it can help.
Andrew, I just tried to send you a PM and was blocked. Can you go into your account settings and make sure you are set to except messages from other members.
Thanks,

~Tink~

The settings say all members can start conversations, is there another setting somewhere?

Try checking settings under your profile.
To do this, double click on your screen name in the top right hand corner of this page. Then, on the left hand side of the screen under settings, click on contact details.
Now in the center of the screen you should have your message preferences. The second check box in this section says " accept conversations from..." Make sure that says 'members only'.

Hopefully that will allow me to PM you. :o

~Tink~

Looks like the settings are right - maybe it takes a little bit of time for DISBoards to register the post count and allow conversations? I'm not seeing a way to send you a PM, so that'd be my guess.

My only other thought is the privacy tab. However, I think that is what you were refering to orginally.
Under the Privacy tab, do you have Start Conversation with You set to Members only?

While waiting, I will continue searching. :guilty:

Woo Whoo!!!!:D
It went through!!

Ok, so I am curious since we have never cruised before...If you go to dinner at Palo with your husband and have kids do you just take them to the OC and feed them room service either before or after your dinner? I just thought about the fact that if we are at an adult only dinner my kids wont get to go to dinner! Haha...kind of curious what others do!

You can find out from the kids club what time they will be taking the kids to dinner that night and make sure the kids are there in time, or you can take them to any of the fast options (Beach Blanket Buffet, Goofy's Galley, Pinocchio's Pizzeria,Pluto's Dog House, or room service) before you head to Palo. One thing you are never short of on the Disney Boat is dining options. The times all of the above eateries will be open is listed daily in your Navigator (which will also be able to be seen on the Disney Cruise App).

One final thought, unless your Palo reservations are at the same time your regular dining reservations are, you could always take the kids to the main dining, and just eat small (say a dessert or an appetizer).

I found an awesome price on Amazon for a hide away pet Olaf if anyone is interested! I love packing away special surprises for my kiddo to magically appear during the cruise and for $5 you can't beat it! (has to be an add-on of an order $25 or more and may just be for Prime members)......hurry if you are interested, no idea how long it will last at $5. http://www.amazon.com/Hide-Away-Pet...4?ie=UTF8&qid=1446738706&sr=8-4&keywords=olaf

Also, can we agree that group 4 FE is going to happen even if we don't get 10 cabins? I'm already starting to pick up a couple of things and my son isn't much into Frozen LOL!

Thanks for the heads up!
We like to give the boys 100 mile gifts on the way to the boat (or parks if we are doing a land vacation). And then they will get a nice at port gift (this year they - actually all of us - are getting water proof bags for our mobile devices so that we don't have to worry about ruining them, and we can have them with us at all times to keep our Navigator handy. Not to mention the pictures). Then on board, I have a special gift for each of them as well. I don't know who looks forward to that tradition more (me or them).
