We would also like to do the Fish Extenders but don't have enough posts to PM. We are a party of 4. Like Crazy4DCL, we did the same cruise in February and everybody enjoyed it so much that we are doing it again!

There will be 4 people in our cabin: 2 adults, 2 children (7 yrs and 3 yrs, both boys). I'm celebrating my birthday on the cruise (12/2). We have a GTY reservation, so no cabin number yet.

Woo Hoo! We're booked for this cruise with our 3 kids plus my husband's parents and siblings. What's everybody planning to do in PV and Cabo? We know we want to catch a water taxi to Lover's Beach and do some snorkeling in Cabo. Other than that, we haven't planned anything.

My name is Suzie. We have just paid off our reservation for 11/27/11 on the Wonder. This is our 3rd Disney cruise. A friend of mine told me about the message boards. I thought it would be fun to meet fellow cruisers on the same 11/27 itinerary. My husband and I will be traveling with our daughter Haylee who just turned 5 and Mattison who just turned 2. I was happy to see someone started a Cruise Meet for Nov. 27th - I'm new to this and wasn't sure how to start one. This weekend I've been pouring over the newly published ninth edition of Passporter Guide to DCL in preparation for our cruise.

We have two boys, age 7 and 3 at time of cruise. I'm curious about fish extenders. Sounds like fun, but need more info on how they work.

We just booked this cruise. This is the 2nd DCl for me, DH, DD (8), and DS (10). My parents are joining us. This cruise is a surprise for the kids. We are telling them we are going to a wedding, then drive up to the pier. I hope I can keep it a secret. We have done FE before, not sure we can participate this time with the "surprise". My kids would know something is up.

As far as PV, We love to go to Crown Paradise Club. It is an all inclusive resort. They have a day pass that includes use of their beach, pools, kids pool with a castle and pirate ship, all food and beverages including alcohol. It is a great deal.

I haven't heard anything lately on this thread about Fish Extenders. Is that still happening? Did I miss something? I couldn't PM because I'm new to DisBoards.

If it's moving forward I'd like to know soon so I can plan...

We will be having Fish Extenders. Please read prior post from Cast Member 2. She is handling all inquirers. You need to PM her names of those participating and ages and sex of children. She made a deadline in a week I believe. If you cannot private message her, post it on here. :banana

I feel a deadline of September 30th will give all plenty of time to coordinate and create/purchase Fish Extender gifts and create/purchase their Fish Extender. PM Me to add you to the list if you would like to participate.

I will post in the thread an Excel Spreadsheet so everyone can plan accordingly.

on a side note I'm sooo excited for this trip I work 2 jobs to be able to afford a trip like this every year! See You all REAL SOON!

Is anyone going to be visiting Disneyland before the cruise?

I think we will opt not to participate in Fish Extenders this time, but I wanted to post an example of a handmade fish extender.

This is made from old jeans, fabric glue and found objects from around our house. The main backing is cut from one leg of a pair of women's jeans. It worked out great that the wide hem was perfect for the dowel pocket! I just cut out interesting sections of kids and adult jeans and glued them on. The whole thing should be no more than 8 inches wide to fit into the area next to your door where the fish is. The iron-on letters were purchased at Hobby Lobby. The Suns patch was cut from an old hat. The mickey patch was found in a box of old stuff. And the Cars patch was made using a t-shirt transfer that I printed myself and ironed onto an old t-shirt, then I cut it out and glued it on. Super easy, really cheap. You may see this hanging next to our door this time around just for decoration!
