I'm excited that the first Mexican Riviera Cruise of the season is nearly back because I'd like to get a look at some Navigator newsletters and read the trip reports! I'm sure they're not excited that their cruise is almost over.

Tomorrow it's October and we get to start telling people we're going on a cruise NEXT MONTH!

Its Almost Time for Disneyland's HallowScreams Fireworks Show! 1st one of the season!

I'm excited. I get to see it on Oct. 11. Oh wait, wrong forum. This one is for the cruise. I hope the ship is decorated for Christmas. I have two favorite things, Christmas and Disney.

Is anyone going to be visiting Disneyland before the cruise?

We are going to Disney after the cruise. We need to stay in LA area so I can catch a flight Wednesday Morning to the Bahamas for a three day Sandles TA Familiarzation trip then back in LA Friday night for a three day Union Executive Council.

Yes! I want to know which movies will be playing too! If you notice someone has posted recent navigators for Disney Wonder could you post here?

And I'd like to know which nights are going to be special themes (like Pirate); I'm hoping our reservation for dinner at Palo doesn't conflict with a theme night I don't want to miss.

Has everyone gone to Disney web site and made their Palo/Spa/Arrival Time reservations?

I know things can change from cruise to cruise, but. . . We were on The MR Wonder in March and I'm hoping the nights will be the same. Monday was formal, Thursday was Pirate, and Friday was semi-formal. I booked my Palo dinner and brunch already, as well as spa treatments. That rotation seems logical to me, i hope they didn't change it.

When we were on the ship, the movies were Tron, it had only been in the theatres about two weeks, and Mars Needs Moms which would not have been released until a week after our cruise. We got a preview. My guess will be the new Muppet movie.

Did anyone see that DCL is now automatically applying Gratuities to your shipboard account? Does anyone have mixed feelings about this?

We are getting closer! It's Getting Colder! Should we pack a Jacket?

Average temp in Puerto Vallarta end of november is 80. It should be nice, but I probably will not be in the ocean. My kids will be, they don't mind the cold. .

I mentioned in a previous post about the hotel in Puerto Vallarta and their day pass. It is a great deal. Can't wait to go there again.


I'm not going to be in DL before or after the cruise I wish we could, but my DH can't take MORE time off work. But I'll be there in 9 days, does that count .

Our gratuities were added due to the TA special we got but I didn't know they were doing it for everyone. But I kind of like it cause every cruise I have ever been on has had such hard working staff and I know quite a few times they dont receive their gratuities because the cruiser has over spent on other stuff and decides they can't afford to leave anything.

I got a look at the Navigators from the latest MR cruise HERE. They're a little hard to read so hopefully some better scans will show up soon. Looks like the movies were:

Lion King 3D was shown in the main Walt Disney Theater several times.

It looks like there was a lot to choose from, but nothing really new. I hope that since we cruise after Thanksgiving, there might be a big holiday release available on the ship!

Thanks for posting the movie list from recent Navigators! I tried to look at the photos of the Navigators last night, but couldn't make out much. Not that I didn't squint my hardest! I was so excited someone posted them!!

Lion King 3D will be fun to see as a family; hope they are still showing that in November. I was hoping for a couple more grown-up movies to go see without the kids. Well, maybe something being released around that time will make it on board?
