This will be my families first Disney crusie. We are super excited. Would really like to meet some other families to start fish extender exchanges.

I have added your thread to the cruise meet list :thumbsup2

Have a great cruise!

This will be our family's first Disney Cruise too! Actually this is the first any kind of cruise for us. So exciting!

I was happy to see someone started a Cruise Meet for Nov. 27th - I'm new to this and wasn't sure how to start one. This weekend I've been pouring over the newly published ninth edition of Passporter Guide to DCL in preparation for our cruise.

We have two boys, age 7 and 3 at time of cruise. I'm curious about fish extenders. Sounds like fun, but need more info on how they work.

I will be joining you too. I am taking my son and his family on my retirement cruise. We went on this same cruise 2 years ago on the Magic and it was wonderful. So we going to do it again

This is our first cruise and we are soooo excited! Going to be my husband and I and our two girls. Our oldest is going to be 5 in January and we would like to do the Fish Extenders.

So glad to hear from others on the cruise. We will be traveling with our two kids (6 yr daughter & 4 yr son). Since this is our first Disney cruise, I am also trying to gather as much info as possible. I have ordered my fish extender and have my door magnets ready. Does anyone have any great tips or suggestions to make this trip even more wonderful?

In response to request for ideas to make the cruise special...

When I was poking around the official Disney Cruise Line website I noticed there's a way you can sign up for a Disney character to call your kids on the phone before you leave for the cruise.

I'm probably going to wait until the sail date is a little closer, but I thought that could be really fun for my boys.

Other people are going on this cruise? we have been booked for over 2 years for this cruise! Found that this cruise is just barely over 50% booked :cool1:

Does anyone want to participate in a Cabin Crawl? We have 6654 Cat 6A Handicap Accessible Our Balcony is about 50 feet long by 10 feet wide

First I had to lookup what a "cabin crawl" was. All these new fun cruise ideas. Yes it would be nice to see other cabins. We are in 6036 - (05C) Deluxe oceanview with verandah.

I'm not sure who organizes the Fish Extender, but I would like to be involved. How many cabins are we going go have, and when will we find out? I need to know how much to bring! I've never done this before and sounds like tons of fun! Do we get a list of cabins involved? :lmao:

Hi, we're just looking into maybe booking this cruise, but I wanted to jump in on this question. One of you (maybe DesignerDestinations?) Should invite everyone who is interested in a fish extender exchange to PM you with their stateroom number, number of people in their group, names or at least a family name plus ages and genders for kids, and where they are from. It's also fun to include details like whether it's your first cruise or if someone in your party will be celebrating something on the cruise. Simply compile the list and post it somewhere with a link so everyone can access it. It's a good idea to set a cutoff date for joining so everyone can prepare the right number of gifts.

Also, a fun idea for the cruise is to bring something for the characters to sign! We brought 3 pillowcases and 2 photo framing mats. Just drop them off at Guest Services at the beginning of the cruise with some permanent pens. They will be delivered to your stateroom, signed by all the characters onboard on the last night of the cruise. You are allowed one item per person in your stateroom. I recommend fabric markers for pillowcases because the permanent marker has started to wash out of ours :(

Hi there,
I am new to the message board forum. My family and I just went on this same Mexican Riviera cruise in February. We had such a great time we decided to take advantage of the kids sale free promo once again. I would love to talk with other cruisers booked on this same itinerary on 11/27. My daughter's are age 5 and 2. Can someone please let me know about the fish extenders??? I have seen them all over the ship by the staterooms on our last cruise. I found a seller on Etsy.com that makes personalized FE. I think my daughters would love it!!! They are so cute!!!
Suzie:)

Its going to be a tight race to finish fish extenders now but if you want to try I can take charge of It, and the Cabin Crawl, Just need PM's from the cruisers. Info needed How many people in Cabin, ages, gender, special event, Cabin Number. Cabin crawl is usually done on embarkation day so PM me if you are interested in this as well :cool1:
