Disney Wonder Mexico Oct 9 2011

Hey all! Not too long now...Can you believe we are 3 days out now? Wow. I am pleased to state that I finished the vast majority of my (and my daughter's) packing last night...aside from the standard last minute things that is. Looking forward to meeting all of you at 3:15pm on the Promenade lounge this Sunday. I think we will do a casual FE drop with no specific date if that's okay. I have a couple gifts per child, and I would like to spread it out. Thanks. :dance3:

Good morning, everyone.

Sorry for the disappearing act - yesterday was travel day (7.5 hours driving thru heavy wind and rain), followed by watching my Diamondbacks beat up on the Brewers at the ESPN Zone. After eating some beignets and orange juice on the porch (they weather is absolutely beautiful), I'm ready to do the updates before hitting the parks. :)

Here's where we're at. Let me know if I missed anyone:

Sunday:
- BethieTink
- MillerFamily
-

Monday:
- IKnowDoYou?
- Mimismommy
- AimsMom

Tuesday:
- danatalyaz
- Brandy C
-

Wednesday:
- MillerFamily
- jotoco
-

Thursday:
- mbrowni
- Slowly
-

Friday:

We will take the last slot on Monday.

Hi Ryan,

Welcome Home! We just got in after a late night stop at In-N-Out burger. I had posted for Wed but we can do Thursday if it's open. We may spread it out as well so I will keep the schedule handy.

Hi,

We will be there at 3:15! See you there. Look for the Asian kids. :woohoo:

The weather has been awesome. Once the rain and wind passed Wednesday night, yesterday was beautiful (high 60's-low 70's) and it was a little chilly at night (for an Arizonan family - high 50's-low 60's). From what we can tell it will be a bit warmer today, and I think it's projected to be in the low 80's tomorrow. So far, so good, though.

The crowds haven't been that bad, actually, but as a former Los Angeleno I can attest to the fact that the Disneyland Resort is 80% local crowds, and weekends are usually pretty busy because of that, so what we see tomorrow may not reflect what we experienced yesterday. Fun will be had by all, though. :cool1:

Welcome Home to you, too!!! In-N-Out would have been a stop for us, but we recently had one built a few miles from our house, so we no longer have to cross the border for a fix. :)

You're all set for Thursday!

Don't forget...it's also a holiday weekend, so that may increase the crowd a bit too.

If you see some random stranger wearing a green Abbey Road Muppets shirt with a Diamondbacks hat or a Kermit Disney hat, say hi! :)

Favor to ask of those of you leaving Sunday:

First off, have a GREAT cruise! Second, could you please check to see if Lion King 3D is playing (I hear it is!) and ask someone in the know how long they will continue to show it onboard please!

We don't get on the Wonder until December but I would LOVE to have a chance to see this movie again, in 3D this time. Feel free to post back on this thread and I promise to check back when you return.

Thank you and enjoy the sun and warmth!

Hilarious video on the news today of a girl getting to go to Disney Land for the first time. Here is a link. It will bring a smile to your face:

Finishing up at work shortly and heading into packing mode when I get home. Everybody drive/fly safely and I will see you in two days. :cool1:

I'm surprising my son too...since he's a "guy" and 14, I doubt he'll have that reaction, but that would make my vacation if he did! See you tomorrow!
