OK.....about the F/E exchange. I would really like to be involved but I'm not sure what the rules/guidelines are. What exactly do we do? It will be me & DH and we are in cabin 6084. So looking forward to the cruise!!!!!

Carrie, I can't find GranJan's info (well, actually, tbh, I am exhausted and don't feel like looking past the last page). Do you know her room number?

Also, if I am missing anyone else, please let me know! My son's birthday was Thursday and his party is this Saturday, so I've been going crazy getting stuff together for that, cleaning my house not just for his party but for my mom's arrival, plus getting ready for school to start Monday! So I haven't checked in here as attentively lately, but I do want to be sure the list is accurate, especially as we get closer! Just 2 more months!

Snoopygirl, the FE is a gift exchange between all the people on the list. You can choose to give a group gift to the whole stateroom or individual gifts to each person in the room, or just to the kids/adults/whatever. There's been talk of either assigning days to deliver gifts, or otherwise you can just go at your leisure, I've done it both ways.

The gifts do not need to be elaborate at all. On our last cruise we got everything from magnets to beach balls to handmade scrapbooks and picture frames to loose candy to tattoos, etc. It can be anything you want.

If you are planning on visiting the parks before the cruise and are interested in sharing the costs let us know - we could get 3,4,5 day passes depending on your plans - we would only use 2 days. We would need 2 adult and 1 child pass.

Hi everyone! I'm brand new to the boards, but I'm so excited to be here! I've taken a few Disney cruises, but this is the first time I've know about the FE and hope to participate.

I'll be cruising with 3 of my friends in two cabins, unknown numbers at this time. I read through the thread and saw that we're not the only ones!

So, in one cabin will be myself, Linda, and my friend Cindy. In the second cabin will be Frank and Karen.

We're planning on celebrating two very important milestones. The first one is Frank's Big 40 and I'll be celebrating my retirement from the Disney company. Just over 10 1/2 years working at California Adventure! My last day working will be 10 -1, then I'll start packinig for the cruise!

I hope we're able to take part in the FE and get to meet some of you onboard. We have dinner at Palo on the first night, and the Sea Lion Encounter in Puerto Villarta.

We will start a park hopper pass split list for the benefit of all interested. Please feel free to add on to the list. Include the number of passes needed (adults age 10 and over and children age 3 to 9), the number or days needed and if to be used before or after the cruise dates before or after the cruise.

For your information regarding splitting costs,

a 3 day park hopper comes out to $66/day for child, $71.30/day for adult
a 4 day park hopper comes out to $54/day for child, $58.50/day for adult
a 5 day park hopper comes out to $45.20/day for child, $49.20/day for adult

The one day park hopper rate is $99 for child and $105 for adult

All passes expire 14 days from first use.

Has anyone else booked any excursions for Cabo? We are looking to possibly do a dolphin swim experience. I going to book direct but when I read the terms and conditions it states that if you are on a cruise that you must book through the ship. Does anyone know how strictly this is enforced?
Also, if you have any other suggestions on excursions good for a family with kids 5 yr old and 8 yr old, I would love to hear them. Thanks!
