Disney Wonder March 20th 2011 sailing

That will certainly help pass the time until March. Although final payment always seems to come way too fast!

Gina

Isn't that the truth ;). But it looks like you have a lot of fun trips ahead of you :thumbsup2. I only have a few short trips to Disneyland planned to pass the time.

After the day I had yesterday, 198 days away seems like eternity :guilty:.

There are quite a few of us from the Pacific Northwest :goodvibes!

I am taking a Carnival cruise in 52 days to celebrate my 40th birthday. And I'm going to hang out at WDW for 4 days post-cruise, by myself, and will be attending MNSSHP...Happy Birthday to me :thumbsup2 !

:goodvibes Awe, thanks for the early birthday wishes!!!

It's sort of a bitter sweet countdown...glad to be going on a cruise in 51 days but not so happy to be turning 40 in 56 days, LOL! I will be in Belize on my actual birthday so I guess it could be worse :rolleyes1!

I can't wait to meet everyone (or as many as I can) in March! I love meeting new people - you can never have too many friends!

Hi Everyone, I'm back from a 3 week business trip, and soo glad to be home. Now time for my break.... 5 days at Disneyland, original home of MICKEY MOUSE!! Staying at the Grand Californian... My absolute FAVORITE Resort in Anaheim. DH, DS,DD, DS, DS, and DMom all coming along...

Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend everyone, and drive safely if you are heading out anywhere.

BTW... will be moving in late September, so after I'm settled, I will contact all the people that volunteered to help, and we will finalize the FE lists....

Have a great time in Disneyland. Haven't been in over two years and can't wait to go again. I want to take my 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter, she loves doing the "princess thing". Only stayed at the Grand Californian once, but like to have lunch at Storytellers and sit in the lobby when we visit.

If it turns out the you need more help with the FE, I'd be glad to.

Hello everyone, back from vacation and recovering from a broken foot. Our group from Brentwood are starting to get excited. I of course have been excited for over 6 months. We are having our next get together in three weeks for our fish extender party and I think I will put on a cheerleading outfit and try to get everyone pumped up for the cruise. I hope everyone is having a safe holiday weekend

Labor Day behind us - all my travel is complete until March!

Good news is I have enough FF miles to get two of our three flights covered. So, that sure helps a lot. And now I am a few surveys short of earning enough miles to have hotels covered as well - now if I can just figure how to get rental cars paid and I'll be good to go!

Thanks for the under 200 days update - that does help psychologically...

Checked air today too and crap, over $400 per person - so nearly $1700 for air for all of us. Won't be able to sell DH on this trip with that... I know things improve as you get a bit closer, at least historically for me that has been true. But, still, just have to watch. Problem is I am a FF so tend to stay with one airline so that I stay in their higher levels (no bags fees, early boarding and seats up front) and this is such a nice high mileage trip for me that I don't want to go elsewhere. They don't give you price breaks though. Sigh...

What airline is your FF, I found some airfare for $234 RT. I will post the info on our facebook page.

Could you tell me more about the Secret Mickey? Exactly how it works? And would anyone in this group be interested? I'd organize it once I learn more about it if others want to do it. I know Pam (aka eyeluvmickey) is interested, so it's a big 2 of us so far.

So who's building our website? :rotfl2:

Yep, airfare is crazy high right now from Oregon!! We may be driving . Which wouldn't be bad for the down trip but I have to work the next day after the cruise so we would have to pull a straight thru drive home.

Our airport is O'Hare, I would not expect a $234, but was hoping to stay closer to $300.

basically, it's like a secret Santa. You sign up and provide your interests, licks, dislikes. Then you are assigned a SM - our SM exchange is between $25-$30 for about 4-5 gifts..now this is on the PC cruise so maybe about $15? And about 3 gifts? The final gift is given when you have the reveal where your SM gets to meet you. You leave the other gifts at thier stateroom usually asking the stateroom attendant to put it in the cabin.

Have you seen the website www.airfarewatchdog - prices change all the time but right now from Portland they're showing...Long Beach for $158 RT, Orlando for $238 RT, Fort Lauderdale for $218, and loads of other cities with decent airfares.
