Ryan Thanks for setting up the FB page. I just sent a request.
Karen Tell your son some creepy guy in a Tropical Mickey shirt will be looking for him at the terminal. Ill break into my FE stash and share some candy with him if hell let me watch the game with him. I keep booking trips late December into January and every year forget about playoffs. Oh well, my teams are the Chargers and Niners so I dont have a lot of incentive to watch. I was blessed enough to watch the Pats lose so if I can catch a few minutes of watching the Steelers go down, it will be a great way to start a vacation!
Sue I mentioned it in the email to you earlier before I read your post. We find out our rotation once we see it on our KTTW cards. If you want a different rotation, you can always have it changed at Wavebands between 1-3. We have done this before when we wanted a specific rotation. The only reason I can think of to want a certain rotation is to line up the nights so that you dont miss something or if you want to visit your favorite restaurant three times. We used it on the Western Caribbean to be in Lumieres for formal night and in Parrot Cay on tropical night before they changed it to pirate night. You can definitely request a specific rotation ahead of time but much like requesting a waterfront table at Blue Bayou, they will note it in your reservation but cannot guarantee it. The honored it twice for us on the Magic and didnt the other time. That time we were able to change it at Rockin Bar D on the first day.
As for us, we are going to shoot for getting to the terminal around 10ish. I would be shocked if they made us wait until 1pm to board.
We finally zipped up three of our bags and weighed them. We kept stuffing every little nook until they both reached 49 pounds (no kidding), one pound under Alaskas limit and our garment bag, while only 33 pounds, is a few additions away from looking like a large rolled up sleeping bag. I dont think folding garment bags are supposed to be that shape. I might miss the Promenade meet, the first show and dinner as Ill be in the deck 6/7 laundry room ironing the whole first day.
I have all the batteries charged and electronics packed in a backpack, Emmas coloring books, Leapster, and toys are stuffed in her carry on, and we have just the last backpack to fill with last minute stuff and things to read on the plane.
The one thing I didnt think about until Amy pointed it out to me tonight was how we are going to be able to squeeze all of this plus a car seat AND- four people into my MILs Matrix when she picks us up from LAX. I think Ill throw in a yoga DVD after I hit submit
