Disney Wonder Hawaii Sept. 2015

I haven't seen that. Usually we have a really decent idea listening to others find out the port schedule and piece it together. Usually it is 1 day notice for the official Disney announcement. They announce, TUesday, Wednesday Gold and Platinum can book their rooms then Silver and new cruisers can book on Thursday.

So I guess if you are a new cruiser or silver you have 2 days:thumbsup2

Yes I'm Silver so I got two days!!!! Cant wait!!!

Decide on your max cruise price now. Not including airfare or excursions or extras. Have that in mind for when comes out.

If it's a RT Hawaii cruise out of LA they won't be new itineraries and I think everyone should be able to book at the same time.

The airfare is what I'm most afraid of!!!

We are hoping for a WBTA but depending on price might go Hawaii. We are planing on doing Aulani for by 50th which 3 years away. Having done at R/T on RCI to Hawaii. You can do a lot on your own we rented cars in all ports except Oahu. We also had 2 stops on the big island. We did the Luau indep as well as saved $75. When I book I am hoping for 10c with grats and insurance for x amount of dollars. If that is not dooable will go inside. If that is still not dooable will go to Aulani instead on DVC points. For airfare you can fly to Seattle and take the train. We did this last summer at $50 for business class. On the return you can get a one way fair on Hawaii airlines to the west coast and then get SW from there to home airport. If we were going that is what I would do.

I'm thinking they will do Vancouver to Hawaii, and then Hawaii to Vancouver in which case that B2B is good right? Then they will either go from Vancouver to PC or reposition Vancouver to So Cal and from there to PC.

I just can't imagine them wanting to try and fill a ship with people willing to be bused from Ensenada to San Diego. I know other cruiselines have done it in the past, but these days I think its a harder sell. But who knows, maybe. :confused3

Ending a cruise with a bus ride from Ensenada wouldn't be my idea of a good time, but on the other hand it's cheaper for most U.S. passengers to fly home from San Diego than from Vancouver.

A repositioning cruise from Vancouver to Los Angeles (or wherever they decide to begin the EBPC) isn't very profitable for DCL. They'd make more $$$$ on a short cruise to nowhere.

I can't price any airfare Aug 2015. Can anyone else? I have looked, its just too far out!

Ok I should have clarified. I start looking at price trends as far out as I can. I also would price Sept this year so I can get an idea what more last minute pricing looks like. I do this constantly throughout the year for different places I might want to go to figure out trends. I also signed up for Hawaiian air, kayak, and Alaskan air price alerts.

Do you think they will release the details of the cruise before you can book it? I would like to have a little time to think about it and figure up if I can afford it.
It's unlikely. Typically, DCL only gives a "starting at" price a day or so before taking bookings.

Seattle is always an option, I know lots of people doing that for the Alaska cruises. Since they will probably sail from Vancouver to Hawaii without worrying about passenger airfare, I don't see why they would care about sailing into Vancouver for the return trip.

I think the repositioning this year from San Diego to Vancouver sold well, why wouldn't a return repositioning?

All of it is speculation of course, so I stand by my prediction. popcorn:: As I await being proven totally wrong. :lmao:

Actually that cruise has had *GT rooms available for a couple of weeks now. Still does. That usually indicates that it's not selling well.

I looked at it. It's a 5 night cruise with one stop in San Francisco. A lot of people don't like "sea day" heavy cruises.

They changed it up again. Last year's repo was LA. I did the September one two years in a row. The first year the ship was maybe 1/2 full, last year it was full. I think a lot of people didn't know about it in 2012.

San Diego is fine but I think they get more people that want to get off in LA so they can do DLR. Or do it first in the spring on their way to Vancouver.

DCL could do so much more with the repos. A day in Seattle, San Francisco and LA if they are ending in San Diego.

Do you think the prices for this cruise will be pairable to the 14 day Panama cruise?:bitelip:

I think this cruise will have a premium price tag -especially if it is a one-way cruise. The Panama Canal cruises have been around long enough to be one of DCL's better values-along with the Transatlantic cruises.

EEWWW!!!:scared1::headache::sad2:

I called DCL yesterday to ask specifically about our dummy we were hoping to switch to Hawaii.
I spoke to a very nice young man, and told him how we were hoping to switch it to the rumored "Hawaii" cruise in 2015.
He was dead serious when he said to me "There's a rumored Hawaii itinerary out there?" I said "oh yes sir there is" and I started laughing, he didn't make a sound. He was good I tell you.

He told me the cruise must commence no later than 18 months from the day you booked.
So now we are booked for November 1st 2014 on The Fantasy very excited to be doing #10 and will now be platinum for our Hawaiian Adventure.
