Disney Wonder Hawaii Sept. 2015

Thanks, Aan. I totally get it! I've been involved with Disney for too many years in one way or another. It's like when a new DVC resort is found out. The company does NOT want to announce until they must do so, as thing can and often DO change. Like with Eagle Pines Resort…. I'm just pleased that it looks like DCL will be going back to Hawaii sometime in the not too distant future. And I'm praying I can find a way to get the time off to be on that ship! I was on the October 2012 sailing, and loved every minute!
Or the Poly DVC. I too am thrilled all the signs point to a Hawaii return. The first one was my second favorite DCL cruise so for me as long as it's a round trip I am in.

Yeah, I don't think they were really ready at all to announce, but because of the way folks find out things ahead of time, and apparently a lot of complaints from people who said they would have bought the next resort had they known about it. (not naming what resorts I'm talking' about! LOL)

Ah, the internet. Both blessing and curse! I do believe the Poly is going to happen. But again, it ain't done until it's done! :goodvibes

That will be ds17's first semester of college. With the prices I'm seeing, I don't think we'll see HI for a long, long, time. :worried:

Yes, college pricing is crazy. Overseas Masters' programs seem to be cheaper than in the US! It's chaos!

Though, Hawaii is so tempting! We were on the last DCL cruise Cali - Mex itinerary of the season RIGHT before the first Hawaiian cruise. All cast members onboard were so excited to go to Hawaii. Didn't help us when we were departing and they were wearing Leis! lol

I wonder if this will be considered a blacked out cruise in regards to OBB benefits?

We are thinking it will be blacked out for sure.
I just want to book it and get the stateroom category we like.
Someone on here said we may still get the OBC but not the 10% discount and will have to put the 20% deposit.

I just want to book it!

Why would this be blocked out? The first one wasn't. I had a dummy res that I moved to the first Hawaii cruise and lost nothing. I know others that did a on board booking when they opened up. I seriously doubt it would be blacked out.

They didn't black out cruises back in 2012, this is something new.

chiming in, would LOVE Hawaii as well. Called Castaway Club DCL this morning and she said that she was hoping itineraries would be out in March - just her take.... we will have to wait and see

That's what apparently some want to know. I have never heard of them block out a cruise except for I think the maiden of the Dream and Fantasy.

Someone listed new OBB blackout dates. I think they included peak travel times. Then someone wondered or knew about holiday and special cruises being blacked out. I do not know. I was curious. Hawaii might be fine. Time will tell.

Just messaged my friend shoreside. Now my friend does not do reservations but knows how to look stuff up and the only restrictions found are the normal ones are the concierge rooms. No black out dates as far as my friend can see.

I sailed the Magic 3 weeks ago and in the brochure with all the future cruises listed is a page with all the blocked out dates for each ship. It says you cannot book these cruises with the special offer while onboard.

Yes that's what I was talking about. There's talk Hawaii could be blacked out from using the entire OBB benefit. That's just rumor and speculation though. We won't know until we know so who knows? :)

I'm OK with that I just want to book it!! ;)

Interesting. Sounds like typical Disney. You call 5 times and get 5 story's. Still I don't care I am in this if it happens.

We had to cancel our summer 2014 Aulani DVC trip because airfare is just ridiculous…. so this would be a nice way to get there in 2015. Is it only rumored for fall (Sept-Dec) - meaning no summer months?

I wish! Wouldn't that be wonderful! I doubt it though.
