Hello We booked this cruise last week on our Magic Med cruise. I am really looking forward to Alaska and we are planning to go to Victoria, Vancouver Island pre cruise.

Wow it's been weeks since I posted!!! I'm so obsessed with life right now that this trip just seems so far away. I'm training for the Boston 3-Day for the cure later this month (I'll be walking 60 miles over three days) and then our trip to Disney in exactly ONE MONTH from today!!! After we come back from there it's back to school, ugh. How did that happen. So many plans for this summer and it's flying by.

Good luck with your training. I did the 3 Day in Mpls and Cleveland. It is quite an experience.

Both Dale & I are very committed to the 3-day. I've been involved since 2009, Dale started in 2011. I've walked and crewed while Dale crews (he's hoping to maybe walk with me next year if we raise enough money for both of us).

All this recent steamy weather has me dreaming of the cruise more and more. I've been reading reading a few trip reports and getting excited for 6/2/14! Starting to research our travel options today.

What is your next "to do" for the cruise?

I booked yesterday! This will be my fourth Disney Cruise. I have been to Alaska several times (have family there) and, as a matter of fact, several of my cousins pilot the DCL ships when they are in the area. I am positively giddy with excitement. I am taking my housemate with me on the trip. She is a Disney nerd like me and this will be her second Disney Cruise.

On the subject of Fish Extenders, I was wondering how many people are in each exchange group (i.e. how many gifts do we bring?). My traveling companion and I have never done an FE exchange before and really want to try but I am moderately concerned about fitting all the gifts in our luggage for transporting them to the ship plus the price of the goodies (if I need to buy things as opposed to making them myself). I am a crafty person by nature and I work from home but, depending on the size of the group, I may not be able to make enough things for everyone.

Lazy morning sipping coffee and reading Alaskan trip reports on the DIS. Nine months and 1 day to go!!! Hope everyone is having a relaxing holiday weekend!

I'm enjoying the first weekend that I've had both days off since Father's Day! "Special Events" season is over for my office until three days after I get home from this cruise!!! Now I can go back to my "real" job of being an accountant.

In the meantime, Jim and I booked our anniversary and Christmas present cruise yesterday. We'll be sailing out of Bayonne, NJ to the Bahamas on Royal Caribbean's Explorer of The Seas on Feb. 9th! Of course, the itinerary isn't really very different. We'll be going to Port Canaveral, Nassau, and Royal's private island Coco Cay. And before anybody asks, I don't think we're going to do their Disney World excursion! We've never been to the Kennedy Space Center, so I think that will be our choice this time.

Now I have two cruises to look forward to!
