I've sent my FB request to join. We're from Ontario. Flights within Canada are so expensive. But I guess we have a long time to hopefully find a seat sale somewhere.

Just joined the Facebook group and booked this cruise on opening day! Waited "forever" for the 2014 Alaska dates to be released! I am a Gold CC member ~ first ever cruise to Alaska ~ It is myself & my DS who will be 14 1/2 at sailing, so he'd love to meet some tweens who can hang out in the Edge with him

Looking forward to getting to know friends, plan some meet & greets, & share planning ideas, esp for excursions, airfare "sales", etc... I have started a packing list too!

First off, simple disclaimer, nobody should feel uncomfortable with the information we’re asking for – I’m not selling info and it will only be shared, via email, with people who are also participating in the FE on our cruise. However, if you are uncomfortable with certain info, feel free to offer up enough generic info to make participation possible. Feel free to use Dis abbreviations for clarification if you’d like (DD = Daughter, DS = Son, DH = Husband, DW = Wife, DGF = Girlfriend, DGM = Grandma, etc) For example, if you’d rather say “DD8-10 and DS12-14” instead of “Suzie DD9 and Bobbie DS14” that is perfectly fine also.

A) Name(s) of adults in room
B) Name(s) and genders of kids in room with ages**
C) Disboard name(s) of people in your room
D) An email address that I can send you a copy/updates of the FE spreadsheet. (I won’t share your email with the rest of the list)
E) Room number or numbers*

Also, some people will give food items as gifts on occasion. If anyone in your room has a food allergy, please let us know – I will indicate that on the list so nobody is inadvertently compromised

* If your group is in more than one room but just 1 FE, just give ONLY the room number where we can locate your FE. If split between rooms, who will be in which room)

** You could alternatively choose to give an age group if you don’t want to get specific, example; 0-2, 3-4, 5-7, 8-10, 12-14, 15-17. Some people like to give gifts for kids specific for boys or girls, or different age appropriate gifts for older or younger kids

An example of what this would look like is:

A) John DH, Jane DW and Ethel DGM (grandma)
B) Suzie DD9, Bobbie DS14, Buster DS4*
C) johnluvsjane DH and janeluvsthedis DW
D) johnandjane@emailaddress.com
E) 6000 (DH, DW, DS14) and 6001 (DGM, DD, DS4)
*Buster DS4 has peanut allergy

Wanted to wait till it was official (deposit applied) but we are on this trip too. And unless I've missed somebody, we might have the littlest cruiser so far! It will be me, DH and DD 3.5 by the time we sail. Our first cruise as parents, and celebrating our 10th (& 11th, by 06/14). Looking forward to hearing everyone's plans and sharing the excitement!

Just a little side note folks If you want to get the real feel of the group you need to join our Face Book page. That's were all the craziness is. We kind of let our hair down and cut lose. We discuss the party floor (7) and PJ breakfast. While we have a great core of former cruise buddies we are always open to fresh craziness. But, if you are laid back and low key, still check it out and just lurk. Either way...get over there. What are you waiting for? The WONDERful APB is getting fired up.
