I've been so busy, I don't get time to get over here to the Dis nearly as often (f/b is so easy to just pop on and share a link). So I wanted to post the various Youtube videos that Disney Cruise Line posted this past week as they celebrated Alaska.

We just moved our on board "dummy" booking to this cruise. This will be our 3rd cruise. Crushing includes: myself (Lauraliisa Gudgeon), DH, DD (10 at cruise)' twin DS (6 at cruise) and my Mom (never cruised before). We will join the FE and the Facebook group. Excited to meet you all. Is there a particular thread anyone has read on Alaska that is a good read to prepare for this cruise?

welcome aboard Lauralisa! I'll tell you that one in our f/b group Kim cruised Alaska last summer or the one before so she has lots of tips. We are much more active on the f/b group than here (just easier to keep up).

We're in! Actually we'll be in once we book in mid-May, after we return from our transatlantic cruise.

This will be my 17th cruise, 16th on DCL! DH is two cruises behind me, since I was able to get away twice with just some girlfriends.

We were originally booked on the 9/2/13 Alaska cruise, but due to some changes in other plans and work commitments, we'll be on this one instead.

This will be our third "bucket list" cruise. The other two were our Panama Canal cruise last December, and our transatlantic which starts on 4/21!

Can't wait to meet those of you I haven't met yet!

Also, our original FE person had to cancel and another will be taking over, so we are in the process of updating post #3 with the FE info.

then give me the following information:

Dis name: xginny1008x
Real world name: Ginny
Cabin #: example 7070
Who is sailing with you?: Ginny (DM) Shanea (DD-26)
Ages of any children: (this helps with determining age appropiate gift)
Any special information such as food allergies or happenings: Ginny: allergic to soy (although I am not)
Feel free to use Dis abbreviations for clarification if you’d like (DD = Daughter, DS = Son, DH = Husband, DW = Wife, DGF = Girlfriend, DGM = Grandma, etc)

On the sail date, I will put copies of the most current version on my cabin door. Or if all decide to have a meet and greet I will also have them there.

Hello all, sorry for my extended absence. It is with sadness that we have learned that we will need to cancel this cruise and won't be sailing with you - just not in the cards right now Ginny xginny1008x has graciously agreed to take over the FE list. You can PM her at xginny1008x as per her notation above, and I will update the info in post #3 as well.

I will be sending the FE list that I have to date to her this week. Please rest assured that if you have already sent me your info either here, or on FB, it WILL BE on the list when Ginny recieves it. If you have NOT sent info yet, please send it to her from this point forward.

I so wish we were joining you I hope you all have an AMAZING trip - I will keep following along and watching you plan your adventures!

Hi everyone! We just got off our first cruise and signed up onboard to join all of you on the June 2, 2014 Disney Wonder cruise to Alaska! This is a dream trip for me. I will be joined by my DH & DS (6)--who we had to remind that we would "sea" the DCL "real soon" in order to get him off the Fantasy! I also just discovered that my father may want to join us as well (not a sure thing yet)!

This is only cruise #2 for us, so I still feel like a newbie and will probably have lots of questions for you veterans--especially those who have traveled Alaska before!

We are very excited to be joining all of you!
