Birthday week recap:
Last week I celebrated my latest trip around the sun. The week started with Melissa and I heading out to look at a new car for her on Monday. This was a planned purchase as Jess is now driving, and we opted to let Lauren use the 2022 Kia when she got back and to take to college next year.
We picked a blue one this time and made a pretty good deal on the top of the line trim. Pretty sure this one was so discounted it cost us as much as we bought our 2022 back when you pretty much paid MSRP if you where lucky.

Hoping this one gives us trouble free use as the 2022. It defintely has all the fancy cameras and sensors Melissa could ever ask for.
With the new ride precured, we had a riveting week of work, a HS orchestra concert, and finally my birthday. It was low key with a weekday birthday plus an at the office day. However, that did not stop my family from making it feel special.
And yes I wore that shirt to the office for my birthday. Over the weekend we went out to our favorite winery for a quarterly wine pickup and enjoyed the nice weather for the day before the rain and snow arrived on Sunday. That did put a damper on our plan, however, that just gave Melissa and I a chance to work on a new puzzle. We started this one Friday evening and picked at it through the weekend with most of the work done Sunday.
Only a few weeks before the racing season starts, so hopefully things will warm up soon so I can get the RV washed and prepped for the track.
