Day 4 (september 3rd)

We woke up when mickey called on the phone at about 7:30 and everyone was pretty tired but we were insistant on getting a head start today, as hurricane frances was on her way. We grabbed breakfast at the resort and then headed over to the Animal Kingdom. This was mom's first trip here as she hasn't been to disney since 1996. Shannon saw Rafiki and cindys mice upon entrance, so she got some autographs and I snapped some photos of them. We started towards dino land and Shannon and John played in the boneyard while mom and I rode Dinosaur. We didn't wait at all to get on and mom really enjoyed it. After we checked on John and Shan and they were still having fun so mom and I rode on the primeval whirl, this ride was awful and it hurt way more then it was fun. Mom had such a bad back ache afterwards that she needed to sit on the bench for ahwile. After she rested, John and I went and rode dinosaur while mom and Shan rode the triceratop spin a few times. We all met up a few minutes later and Shan posed for a pic with some tyrannasaraus rex beforew we headed out of dino land.

We decided to go straight to It's tough to be a bug" and once again we walked right in to the theater, Shannon really loved the show and got a kick out of all the 3d interaction. Mom jumped up when she heard everyone screaming about the bugs, we all thought it was hillarious. After coming out we headed towards Africa and saw King louie, he played around with Shan a little and I got some good pictures of the two of them. We all rode Killamanjaro safari but I was very dissapointed by the lack of animal viewing. They must have been sleeping, or hiding out from the incoming storm. Mom, really doesn't like animals so I think this pretty much convinced her that she wouldn't be returning to the animal kingdom again. She was a good sport non the less so I had to give it to her. We headed through Camp minnie mickey and shan saw some of the characters and we all watched Pocahontas's forest friends. It was a cute show, and we all enjoyed it. Finally we headed back out to the entrance to pick up our tree of life photo and headed back to the Pop for a rest.

We all layed around for a bit and then got dressed to go to Epcot to see some more of the attractions. First we rode on Test Track (shannon loved it so much) we ended up going again because there was no wait and then we headed over to mission space. Just John and I rode because Shannon was a little to short. She just played in the space center while mom watched over her. We ended up at Ellen's energy last and then we went back to pick up our photos at the entrance before catching the last boat across world showcase. We had 7:00 ps's at the Italy pavillion so we went directly there and were seated immediately. Our waitress was fantastic and we all enjoyed our meals thouroughly. By the time we exited it was about 8:00 so we walked around and explores world showcase before settling on a spot to watch illuminations. We finally decided to settle right out side of Mexico and everyone loved the show. John and I had seen it when we came a few years ago but it was a first see for mom and little Shannon and they both really enjoyed it.

When we got back to the resort there was a letter from disney to tell us that the parks would be closed the next day due to hurricane frances. We were all pretty bummed but decided we would make the best of it anway. We headed to the pop and picked up some non perishables before heading back to the resort to crash We all settled down and went to sleep early that night and prepared for the incoming storm!

I have enjoyed reading yor report.
