Our last day here. FIL, MIL, and SIL checked out while we were still sleeping so we did not see them again. Since we stayed at MK until e-night was over, we slept late this morning. Too late! Our plans were to get everything packed and check out of YC before our PS at Boma at AKL. Instead we ended up having to come back to YC after breakfast.
Boma's was fantastic. I love breakfast buffets and this one did not disappoint. There were so many things to choose from and everything was delicious. The restaurant was beautiful and all the CMs were so friendly. The hostess asked Courtney her name and talked to her while she seated us. When we were leaving, she told Courtney goodbye by name. Next time we will definitely have to stay at AKL. All of the pictures that I had seen on this site made me fall in love with the place, but WOW to see it in person. It made the Yacht Club look like Holiday Inn IMHO.
We went back to YC and finished packing and checked out. We were on our way to Downtown Disney (Marketplace).
We parked by the World of Disney and spent a small fortune in there. There are a few stores that I really like so we just go to those. We went to Disney at Home and bought some more pink Minnie (or Mickey) towels for Courntey's bathroom. Then we went to Disney's Day of Christmas where I found the most beautiful Christmas tree skirt. (I can't wait until Christmas to put the tree up.) Then we went to Gourmet Pantry so I could get some more Mickey kitchen towels. I wanted a Mickey brownie and a cookie and Courtney decided she wanted a Mickey brownie too. DH wanted a sundae from Ghiradelli's. While DH was in line at Ghiradelli's, Courtney dropped her brownie on the ground (after having eaten maybe 2 bites), so we went to McDonald's and got her some fries and a Coke and got on the road.:(
It was so funny in the car because Courtney was munching on her fries in her car seat and I looked back at her a minute later and she had fallen asleep eating. DH and I were hoping that she had swallowed her food before she passed out.
It was about 3:30 pm and we got to our hotel in Mobile about 11:30 having stopped for a quick dinner. We got on the road the next morning about 10:00 and got home about 8:30 pm.
Not too bad a drive. Going home is always so hard, but I was happy to see our Chow and cat.

Sounds like you had a great trip. I'm glad your trip home was good and you arrived safely. Thanks for sharing!

I've enjoyed all your reports, thanks for posting. The secret of traveling with relatives is to know when to go your own way and let everyone do their own thing. Now I just hope I remember that for our trip in November! LOL.
