Disney with 3 under 3! I just might be crazy! My first PTR.

:banana: on the extra two days. Does anyone ever turn down extra days? :rotfl:

And that is great about the hotel.

Feeling really down today. I had planned to make a happy update soon with all my fast passes and my updated schedule. Unfortunately that is not the case today. On Saturday night, my mom suffered a small heart attack. One of her arteries was 99% blocked, so doctors put a stent in. She is feeling much better today. Unfortunately one of her main arteries is 85% clogged still ( this was not causing a heart attack). So the doctors want to put a stent in that artery as well, most likely in the next week or so. The doctors said she was very lucky and has minimal to no heart damage. I am so grateful that my mom is okay, as I mentioned in my earlier posts I've had a pretty traumatic year and don't think I can handle much else.

While we are so grateful my mom is okay, we are also so upset that it is not looking like she will be able to go to disney with us on this trip. We were on the phone last night and she was so upset and crying. I kept telling her disney will always be there and this just gives us an excuse to plan more trips, the important thing is she is okay. It's still hard not to feel disappointed. She is hoping the doctor will still give her an okay to go, but I'm thinking it's not likely. Hoping the airlines will be understanding about her changing her flight.

As for us, the trip is still on. It wasn't possible for us to change our dates, my husband needs to use his 2 weeks by end of year or he loses it and vacation requests have to be put in pretty early, so we are locked in. We have this big house that we rented and now it looks like it will just be the five of us and my grandmother. Oh well guess we will have lots of room to spread out.

I'm still feeling pretty down and disappointed about everything. I'm hoping I get some of my trip excitement back soon. Hoping to be back with a happy update in a day or so.

Oh my! I just read your whole PTR. I really hope your mom feels better soon. My mom had a stroke about 6 weeks ago and recovery has been really slow. It is tough to have a plan for help and not have that pan out they way you envisioned. You have a nice long trip planned, so hopefully you can just relax, take it slow, and enjoy the magic.

Thank you. She is feeling much better already. I am just thanking God that this was not a massive heart attack. She is so lucky to have suffered minimal damage. She is home now and I will be going to the cardiologist with her Monday to find out when she will be getting the other stent. The doc hasn't completely ruled out the trip yet so she is still holding out hope of coming, I do not think it is likely though. We will just make the best of the trip and enjoy the time with my grandmother and go at our own pace in the parks.
So sorry to hear about your mom. I know the recovery for strokes is a long process. Wishing her a full recovery <3

Woohoo we are less than 2 weeks away! I can't believe it. I don't have much to update on my mom, she has been home since last Monday and she is feeling back to normal. We have her cardiologist appointment tomorrow where we will find out more details about her next stent.
Anyways I figured since we are so close I will start to post our itinerary :cool1:

Arrival day Saturday nov 8

I am hoping we will arrive semi early in the day and get to stop at my grandmothers stuff. She has been picking up some things for us (ponchos, tshirts etc) so I would like to get them before we go to parks.

3:00pm check in at hotel, depending on what time we arrive and the weather we may let DS have a little pool time.

I figure we will head to DTD And I can activate my pass and we can get some dinner at earl of sandwich. Maybe we will do some shopping. Thinking this will be a pretty early night for us since we will prob be exhausted from the drive.

First Park Day!!! Sunday November 9
We have a breakfast reservation at Cape May Buffet. I'm really excited to start things off with a character meal. I think it's the perfect way to immerse DS in the whole disney experience.

After breakfast we will head to MK.
Our first fastpass is at 11:00 am to meet mickey. I really wanted DS to start the trip by meeting his idol. It will also be interesting to see how the twins react to the characters.

We will ride some rides in fantasyland and tomorrowland. I know DS will definitely want to take a ride on tomorrowland speedway. He is totally obsessed with cars.

I really hadn't intended on seeing Anna and Elsa. But I started to get nervous when DS started requesting we "meet frozen at disney world" lol staying offsite I knew the chances were slim but in a stroke of luck I was able to grab fastpasses for me and DS when they extended the hours earlier this month. The fastpass was originally for 9:00 pm but I kept checking and checking and eventually got a time at 2:30. Woohoo

After meeting Anna and Elsa I think we will take a break and go back to hotel for awhile.

I managed to get fastpassss for mine train, but they are for 9:00 pm. So I'm hoping the twins will sleep in their stroller while dh and I riderswap this one with DS.

That is all for now, I will be back most likely tomorrow with more plans.

:banana:Im soooooo excited! its so close i can taste the mickey bars. One week from today will be our first park day at magic kingdom and it is shaping up to be the most magical day. I was able to grab a Be Our Guest at 4 pm for that day which I'm really excited about since it was looking like i had to cancel our res for 11/13 due to lack of babysitter. The doctor officially told my mom she cannot travel until she has her next stent put in, and hospital policy dictates he smust wait 4 weeks, so isn't going to be having a procedure until the day we get back.we are sad she can't come still but i know there will be other trips. jet blue was very kind a returned a full credit to her even though her ticket was nonrefundable.
anyways back to more magical disney plans.
MONDAY NOVEMBER 10
We will aim to be at epcot for 10/11ish. I booked a fast pass for spaceship earth.
We have lunch reservations at 11:55 am for akershus. I was just able to pick this up. I wanted a breakfast as I'm not sure about the lunch/dinner food but this will do. Im not gonna lie this reservation is completely and totally for me.:rotfl: Im a bit of a princess fanatic. Im sure my older son will enjoy the character interaction, and ill get a cute picture of my baby girl in a princess dress with a princess lol
I have some fast passes booked for soaring, character spot, and test track, and our plan is to sample some things from food and wine festival.

Tuesday November 11
Hoping the weather today is nice for a pool day. If not we will find something else to do, maybe a trip to DTD or walmart. I was supposed to be picking up my mom from the airport this day so obviously i have a chunk of time freed up. We have dinner reservations for Ohana. I am excited to try this, i always see everyones food pics and it looks so yummy.

Wednesday November 12
This is our Hollywood Studios Day! I have fast passes for frozen sing a long and tower of terror. Will most likely do a child swap for tower of terror since DS will probably be scared. We have a lunch reservation at Hollywood and Vine. I was able to grab a toy story mania but the time kinda stinks. 5:55-6:55pm

I think ill leave off here for now with our plans. We had a nice halloween, DS was captain hook, and the twins were pooh bear and ariel. Definitely think i will bring these costumes along on our trip.
heres some pics from our day
