Has there been any indication as to when the Wish will "float out" of the construction dock? Should be happening soon I would think.

I was just pondering this the other day. We haven’t heard much lately in construction updates. With all the supply chain issues I’m concerned that she won’t sail on the schedule they set for the maiden voyage.

Wonder how far out the maiden voyage may be due to supply chain issues that we are not hearing about? We might see the inaugural sailing in July or August.

No news is not always good news.u

Wasn't there a live camera on the Dream and Fantasy being built? They don't have that for the Wish?

They did for a while, but then it went away. Disney probably didn't like it.

You can follow along on Scott's DCL Blog, though. There are usually updates about construction on the Wish once every week or two.

Seeing the progress on a couple different sites, it seems like they are still on schedule for the June cruises. I’m excited to see the float-out ceremony 😁

After a little research, the Dream and the Fantasy floated out ~90 days before the MV. That would make February 15th a likely date.
Maiden voyage isn't til June 9th so wouldn't that make 90 days prior closer to mid March?

You are right! Sorry, I was looking at a different cruise (The PCC on the Dream) when I did that quick calculation. I'll go edit my original post to correct that.

I don’t MV Werften is the same thing as Meyer Werft. I think MV Werften was only established to build ships for Genting.

ETA - I just googled and Werft/Werften means shipyard. So MV would be different than Meyer.

yeah. Just looked. Your right. Names are close, t but they are not the same thing.

fake news. Sorry!

bumping up, since February starts tomorrow. :)
