Disney Wish - 13008 or 12034???

We decided to book on the Disney Wish and have the choice between cabins 13008 and 12034. Not too worried about the floor, but trying to decide which room will be quieter. 13008 is a connecting room, but 12034 is near elevators and might share a wall with pool restrooms. Anyone have an opinion? Thanks in advance!

On the more recent ship, they did a really good job of soundproofing the connecting doors. I've never heard a peep through them. I also don't have any concern about being close to the elevators based on often staying near elevators and never having a noise issue. The possible shared wall with a restroom sounds like it could be bad though--potential to hear flushing/plumbing noise. I think I'd go with 13008.

I will agree with the previous poster. I have never had an issue with noise from a connecting door. I think the room near the pool/restrooms would be noisy. We were on deck 10 one year on the Fantasy and found the noise from above us noticeable.

I saw a similar post on a different board. I'll respond here the same way. Since nobody has actually sailed on the Wish yet I'd generally go with the connecting door room. Never had a problem with connecting doors on any Disney ship. I also wouldn't be concerned about being near the elevator lobby. Have sailed several times in cabins right across from the elevator lobby and not had a noise problem.

However, I would be a little concerned about being near the pool restrooms. That has the potential to be loud as a result of people coming and going having a good time. Of course, that would only be a problem during the day time when you might not be in the room anyway.

All in all, I'd be happy just to be on board.

Perfect. Thank you. We booked 13008 this morning….seemed like the safer bet.
