I keep meaning to check this place out but have always forgotten.
Disney Wilderness Preserve (Nature Conservancy)
My next trip is in mid-October. I'm considering stopping by there for a few hours before driving home (I live on the Gulf coast, so I drive to Orlando). Looks like it would offer lots of beautiful photo ops.
My chief concern is that I will be by myself, so there's a bit of risk associated with being on a hiking trail alone.
Has anyone been to this place? The website doesn't say if guided tours are available, so I'm assuming not. Is it busy, lots of people around? If it isn't a very busy place, I'm thinking maybe I should wait until I visit Orlando with friends/family instead of doing this on a solo trip.
