We are leaving for Disney on Saturday and I am 14 weeks pregnant. Everyone is like I'll be alright but I don't know. My sister in law is like 7 months pregnant and she is at least acting like it's not a big deal.

You’re early in the pregnancy, you should be fine. Just drink lots of water, rest when needed and don’t overheat. And don’t ride the rougher rides. Have fun!

What is your concern? There aren’t many restriction for anything at 14 weeks (just follow the rude restrictions, there aren’t many).

I've been 3 times since I found out I was pregnant - at 4 weeks, 12 weeks, and 17-19 weeks. No issues any times. Just make sure to stay hydrated and take some more breaks than you might normally. I really only avoided the most intense rides on the most recent trip (basically the roller coasters plus ToT and Dinosaur), but that's up to you what your comfort level is with those. Overall, it hasn't been too different from the pre-pregnancy trips. I would say at 14 weeks, you're totally fine and to go and have fun!

Are you concerned about the actual park experience? Or the covid inferno in Florida?

For park experience- Stay hydrated, if you're prone to nausea bring your anti-nausea meds, eat frequently as hunger can trigger nausea. Avoid the coasters, the safari is a personal choice as some women ride it and some women don't.

For the covid inferno- Wear a mask, wash your hands, try to stay away from people (easier said than done sometimes).

I went when I was a few weeks pregnant and then again at 7 months. The earlier one was not a big deal, other then I had to pee much more often and got a bit tired. The 7 month one was much more brutal. I carried more internally and I struggled to breath, my feet and legs hurt, and I just was much more exhausted. Take plenty of breaks, drink plenty of water, go at a slower pace, and don't worry about missing things. This was 20 years ago with no covid though. I would not go with the virus as rampant as it is. I just don't feel like it is worth it. Disney will still be there in a few years.

As long as you are vaccinated there’s really nothing to be concerned about that early in pregnancy. Just don’t do the big coasters (even though they would probably be fine too)

I went to WDW over father's day weekend for a babymoon when I was 15 weeks. I avoided everything on Disney's list of rides that pregnant women should avoid. We took it slow, took breaks as needed (more than I normally need) and I drank lots of water or Gatorade Zero Sugar. I struggled with the heat a bit, but had a great trip!
