Disney Wedding Photo Links!!

Druidia,

Thanks for the info. We are only inviting 40 guests to keep at the 25 room night minimum - no way do I want to be responsible for 50 room nights! SO, I think we'll end up around 30-35 guests too, so it should work out fine.
Right now we only have the lower booked (suggested by our planner) but my mom mentioned that she would like to have the cocktail hour in the upper and move to the lower for dinner - she got the idea from your photos actually.

My questions right now are:
1. did you have to pay extra for the chairs you had for the dinner portion and if so how much?
2. how much was it for the bows you had?

I'm sure i'll have more questions for y ou later, can't think of them now, but thanks for getting back to me.

Yes, the silver chivari chairs and bows were a splurge. We are so glad we did them. They helped the island look so elegant.

At the time, our chairs and bows were $19 each. They didn't break the cost down separately in my BEO, but I think the chairs were $15 each and the bows were $4 if I recall. They were well worth it.

We used 5 of the 10 person tables and really spread out our guests. One thing I wish I had done differently was a larger centerpiece. I made my own centerpieces and had them add the green button mums to them, but the centerpieces were much too small for the tables. No one seemed to notice but me. I was reluctant to spend so much money on floral that would just be thrown away, so I kept it small. I wish I had done a little bit more.

At the time, though, we were so incredibly happy with how the day was going that I didn't care! :cloud9:

Hey! I thought I'd share ALL my Wedding & Disneymoon photos that me and my guests took! This is my site with ALL of my photo albums...so there are a lot of other albums on there as well...but a TON of wedding ones! I don't have any of my pro-Disney photos yet...but the others are ALL there! I have engagement photos and our trip to Vegas on here too! Thought everyone may want to see!

Lindsey,

I really enjoyed going through your albums. I will be going to WDW in October for our annual trip and can't wait. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful photos.

Your welcome! You're going to have such a great time in October! I can't wait to get back! I think my parents are planning a trip in March and I told them no one can go to Disney without me...haha! I really want to go to WDW during Halloween. I am hoping maybe next year that will be a possibility.

It seems like you and your parents really love Disney as much as we do. Are any of you DVC Members?

If you go next October during the Wine and Food Festival, the one "extra" cost event that you would really enjoy is "Party for the Senses". We never miss this one it's our favorite.

Oh, yeah...my parents began my Disney obsession. They actually had there Disneymoon in WDW and stayed at the Contemporary and when back and stayed at the Polynesian for their one-year anniversary. :) Back then...that's all that was there! I'm keeping up the family traditions! My parents are from FL, so they went all the time! I've been looking into the DVC, but don't really know or have enough info. about it yet.

As a DVC Member since 2002, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. You can also contact my Disney Cast Member DVC Rep, Rafael Massa. If you mention my name as a referral, DH and I would get a "special" gift. Let me know if you are interested and I will see if the webmaster can give you my personal email address. I prefer not to post it on the site.

What ports are your Disney Cruise sailing? This is another vacation that DH and I have on our list. I would like to go on the Western Caribbean voyage.

Always a pleasure to talk to you.

fairy tale bride...

your pictures are sooo beautiful! i loved how so many people were wearing colors that went along with the setting. but what i loved most...your mickey bracelet and your blue fingernails! soooo fun! :rotfl:

ooh...and also the pictures with the sunglasses! :cool1:

looks like you had an amazing wedding!!!

Question...Even though I'm SO not getting married anytime soon (it's a shame really)...

is there a minimum that needs to be spent on "intimate" weddings? Like...for Cusom big ones, there's that 10,000$ min.

No there is no minimum on intimate weddings, There is a package price and then you can add extras on if you want to.

i didnt know you could choose anyhere but the few places disney has on thier website. How do you get to have a wedding at itally or elsewhere? We are only doing an intimate wedding so i dont know if that makes a difference.

My wife and I desperately wanted to get married at Disney, but finances and the fact that we didn't want all of our family to have to travel down there, we were unable to do so. However, I am wanting to surprise her on our upcoming trip around Christmas next year, (I know I like to plan early). Anyway, after looking at all of your pictures, I want to surprise her and have a small replica of the wedding cake she wanted brought to us, and also to take our wedding outfits and have pictures taken there at the Grand. But does anyone know how much this is? I'm just talking about like an hour at most. Just so we can get some really good professional shots. PLEASE HELP!! :groom:

Ok, since my original post, I have had some very good information from what seems to be a great photographer. HOWEVER, my question now is this: Who all do you recommend? Has anyone had a wonderful experience with an outside photographer or maybe a bad experience? Do you recommend the Disney Photography Service over an outside? HELP!! :bounce: :confused3 :Pinkbounc :goodvibes
