We have a 4 yo son, we went to BB in June, planned to go once, went twice since we liked it so much. We felt there was something to do for kids of all ages. In particular, the kids area, Tike's Peak, had great transition type slides for kids not quite ready for bigger slides. There is even a tube ride for the littlest ones where the tubes are smaller and have no hole so they can just sit on top. There is a CM at the top to help them get on the tube and a CM right at the bottom of the slide to grab them as the tube hits the little pool. The CM then pushes their tube over to the stairs (to a waiting parent). There is a similar body slide with a CM at the top, and a mat at the bottom that they land on (not in a pool). I would estimate both of these slides to be about 35-40 feet in length. There are a few squirters and splash pad type things in this area as well as 3-4 short, slightly steeper slides (like you might find at a playground). At the top where all these slides start there is also a small play area with about 3 very short slides for the littlest adventurers (like 3-4 feet in length). Our son also loved the wave pool. There is another tube ride (orange tubes, can't recall name) that is good for smaller children, your 3 yo might like this one, it's more adventurous than the one in Tike's Peak but not bad. My son did the toboggan racer ride a few times and liked that, we saw kids younger than him riding it too. Have fun! Hope this helps.
