I'm totally up for a switch!!
Just need to note my notes so I can get started.
Just need to note my notes so I can get started.
Group look good here too!
. I see in the requirements section that the MAIN color for you piece needs to match the color group, but you may add other complementary colors to the piece itself. This is good. I have the American Pavilion for Epcot. I'd like to add a touch of red.... Otherwise, it might just look like a night sky!
So ...... Next issue ...... Does the embellishment have to fit strictly within the Mickey head shape itself or can their be a bit of overlay?.
Just clarifying as I start my designs- we are making mickey heads that represent our ride/area/ect. We would not need to put a name or letter or anything to say what it is just make sure it is represented- for example my thought on Everest are to take my brown mickey heads and do a water crinkle to get them looking really distressed(since the whole area looks somewhat run down and the buildings are cracking), then I was going to use chalks to make a yeti footprint on one ear and then add on some mountains with white peaks in the middle. I do not need to put any kind of wordings or letters to identify what my item is (this one may be easier to specifically see than for example the Oasis (which I was thinking of going green leaves, brown trail, and birds for the mickey head).

Well girls we have had some good ideas from disney-akj and Mickeyteacher about the bagging, tagging and sorting for this swap. I have decided to try this out... It will save you tons of time when bagging, and $$$ since it's less bags and postage probably too. It saves me time while sorting. Thanks to our smart swapper gals for the suggestions!!!
Everyone needs to lay out 15 bags (quart size will probably be large enough). Label these 15 bags like this:
mycutiepatooties
Traci XXXX
Bag #1-15 (just number your bags)
Write what you made on a note (or print it out) and stick it inside each bag. For example:
AK: green--Tree of Life
MK: gray--castle
DHS: blue--Fantasmic and so on...
Inside your bags put 1 complete set of everything you made. So if you have Tree of Life Mickey heads...and you made 15...now put one into every bag. So at the end there will be only 15 bags total with 1 of each thing you made inside along with a note telling what you made so everyone will quickly know what board each item goes to. Then mail to me.
I'll get them and set up 15 boxes, one for everybody. Then you will each get 1 bag from everybody dropped into your box. So you'll have all 95--a complete set.
Sound okay? Anyone confused? You are really just pre-sorting a bit rather than putting like items into groups that I break apart later.
