Anyone else dissappointed that the updates online didn't have to do with any Disney offers? Disneyland REsort has 2 current offers, none for Disney world. Hopefully soon. My fear is that there will be codes for May 1st and on, not For the end of april.

Yes!!!
I got mine last year just to get the code. I mean, really, it IS the Disney Visa....they'll make money when we charge our rooms to it--just off interest alone.

I was very upset. I check it everyday! Hasn't it been a loooong time since they offered anything? :worried:  :sad1:

Since you all have disney visa, I have a question for you. Does your interest rate change monthly? I called and complained this month because it has gone up a few tenths the last 4 months! This is with no late payments or anything. Are you all having this problem?

Actually, I think the Disney vacations are 0% interest for 6 months. I don't know if that was just a promo offer when we first joined, but I thought it was permanent.

And, Disney doesn't get the interest anyway. Bank One (well, Chase now...) gets the interest.

Yes it is permanent, not just a promo but you have to book a package. We are doing room-only so I called to check it out and they told me it had to be a package to get 6 months with 0% interest. That stinks!! It looks like they would do it either way. After all, it is still disney!!!

The 0% interest deal is OK but the discounts have been extremely disappointing. I'll probably be cancelling my Disney Visa after my current trip and move to something else to collect air miles instead.

As much as I love Disney, the Disney Visa didn't seem to be such a good deal to me - The vacation discounts only apply if you buy admission inclusive packages & I am a AP holder.... you get 1 point per $100?? What's with that? My Worldpoints card gives me 1 point per $1.00 that I can redeem for cash, merchandise, resort or air, with no blackout dates. The rewards are a little stingy, IMHO.

I too am disappointed. There haven't been any deals, codes or even point offers. I think that the 1 point per $100 stinks as well. As other posters have mentioned, other cards offer so much more. ::MickeyMo

All I can say is that I have $841 in Disney dollars and my trip isn't until the end of May. I think we'll get pretty close to $1000, which I hope will pay for most of our food on the trip.

To have 1000 dollars to use means you have to charge 100,000 dollars. wow. i will keep my disney visa, just in case there are codes coming out in the future, but now my purchases go on my visa for air miles.

That's kind of alarming, isn't it? Of our $841 so far, $153 were during a double miles promotion. But that does mean we've charge about $68,800 during a 13 month period. We do charge everything we possibly can, then pay it off every month...we've never paid a cent of credit card interest. There were a few extraordinary items...for example, our church was fundraising for a new youth facility and they allowed contributions to be via credit card...so our generous contribution to the chuch will yield a meal at WDW!

:earseek: Not only do you have to charge $100,000, don't you have to actually pay it off to collect the Disney Dollars?

If you compare various "reward" type credit cards, the Disney Visa card is pretty lame. You can live with it when they give you discounted rooms as they did last year, but unless something changes, I think there are much better options.

That's my attitude. Prior ro the Disney Visa, I primarily used my debit card, and charged big things on our Discover card. I'm currently at $582 dollars (I will have had the card 2 years in April), and expect to be around $800 by December (when we do to WDW).

I do wish, however, if they are going to give out double points to entice people to use the card, that they would make better room offers and the like available to people who use the card alot! If they can personalize the double points, they could personalize room or vacation packages (kind of like getting a postcard)

I love my Disney Visa. I did have world points, and did get 1 point for every dollar, but then it took 25000 points to get a check for $250 so, it works out to the same ratio as Disney Visa.

Also, they do sometimes offer double andt riple points, so I had about $350 to spend on my last trip, but I hadn't charged $35000.00. For me it works better than any other credit card--I never carry a balance, so the interest rate doesn't affect me. I love that when I went several weeks ago ona partial solo trip, all of my meals were "free" as were the pins and mugs I "bought" I wish the offers were a little better and that I got more dollars, but I still love the program.
