We just got our disney visa cards. We have activated them on the phone. When will the disney reward for signing up and being approved show. I checked on the internet and they do not show. I was hoping to get them transferred to a rewards card before our vacation. Do you have to make a purchase first?

I would call the number on the back of your card. They are always very friendly and can tell you when to expect to see the credit.

They must post the reward dollars to your account after the first full billing cycle.I have had my card for about two weeks and have made several purchases,but no Disney reward dollars have been posted to my account.By the way,I just love the look of this card-it looks so Disney.I can't wait to use it AT WDW.

Reward dollars are posted at the end of each billing cycle. The bonus ones for signing up have been appearing on the second month, not the first. You might want to call and see if they'll push yours through a little faster. I don't know if they can, but it's worth a shot. IF they do, when you get down to WDW, go to DTD guest services. Tell them you want to get a rewards card. They'll give you one and help you connect on the phone and you'll have the points transferred to the card immediately.

How many bonus points do you get for signing up and being approved? We just got our Disney Visas, too - we're using them for everything so we can rack up those reward points!!

If you sign up during certain special offers, it's 50. It worked out well for me since I didn't get any bonus for signing up (I signed up early) but I got points for a while for referring someone. DBF wanted one, so altogether it earned us 100pts. I'm trying to convince him to charge my ring when he has the money....That way he can pay it off, but we still get the points! (We're doing a Disney honeymoon)

you could get the rewards card at dtd. It was saying 2-3wks to mail which would mean the points would have to be on there now and I would have to order the card right away to get it in time. So as long as they get the points on by time I go I can still use them. They asked when I wanted my bill and I picked the 21st -23rd. So if they put them on at the end of the billing cycle they would be there in time. Unless they show on the second billing cycle. Ow well if they aren't there in time I can always use them to buy disney videos for my dds for christmas right. I'm excited to use the card too. They give such high credit limits a girl could really get herself in trouble. Yikes hope I can maintain discipline while at disney.

They do give high limits! Mine was actually raised! It's crazy....I don't even use it that much, I mean all I really do with it is use it just like my debit card (as long as the purchase is over $10) and pay it off the second I see the charge online. Since I'm a grad student, I'm seriously not spending that much money...

Do you not get reward points for purchases less than $10? Isn't it cumulative on your balance?

Yeah it is, but I just feel stupid charging stuff that's less than that...I'd rather just debit it.
