We are traveling to WDW June 29-July 2. We have applied for a Disney VISA. What card benefits can we take advantage of while at WDW?

Not sure if this is a permanent thing or not, but when we were there in October, there was a private character meet and greet at Epcot for Disney Visa cardholders. We didn't have to wait long (maybe 15 minutes), and we were with Mickey, Minnie and Goofy for 5 or 10 minutes. There were Photopass photographers who took pictures, and they also took a few with our camera. It was great! My 6yo was wearing a MM Sorcerer hat , and Mickey took it off her head, put it on his and danced around with her. She got a huge kick out of it. If I remember correctly, we also got a free 5x7 as a cardholder benefit.

First and foremost are the Disney Reward Dollars, you will get 1% on all of your charges. You can use these dollars to pay for basically everything from dining to merchandise at WDW.

The special offers at the parks you can get with the card vary, most of the time there is special financing on the purchase of a trip through WDW Travel (usually 6 months no interest)

Currently there is a character meet and greet in Epcot, where you can get a free 5x7 keepsake photo.

There is also a 10% discount at WDW florist and a $50 onboard credit for DCL.

There are also other offers for DL, entertainment ticket discounts on things like Disney on Broadway, and Disney on Ice, and merchandise.

Jill - I have the Disney Visa as well and just checked the website for current offers. They are going to again offer the character meet n' greet, but it unfortunately is from 7/8 - 9/30, so you will just miss it. Other than that there was only a 10% off from Disney Florist and a $50 ship credit for Disney Cruises. However, after you get your card periodically check the website - the offers can change from month to month. I know recently they offered something like 25% off purchases of $50 or more at the World of Disney store. Have fun in June!

When we were there this past December, we also got 10% off our purchases at World of Disney.
