Disney Visa - what kind of discounts - is it worth it?

I really do not need another credit card but we do pay it off every month so I was wondering if the perks are worth it to apply for a Disney Visa? Do you get discounts on food or purchases? I read somewhere you get maybe 10% off on purchases over $50 but what about food?

You do get a dsicount at the Disney Stores which is a nice bonus, I think it is ten percent off. I don't recall getting any perks on vacation except to get into a character Meet and Greet and I think there was a free photo involved.

Nope. No food discounts.

The card has no annual fee like a lot of rewards cards do. That's a plus.

They have 0% interest for 6 months on vacation packages (not room only or tickets only purchases). The 6 months thing is kind of ticky tacky because they start applying your payments to the promotional rate first somewhere around the 4th or 5th month so you can't use the card during those months if you want to keep that 0% for the entire 6 months.

They usually have the same package promotions that the general public get but they have a different booking code and open a day or two earlier. Sometimes a resort might be totally booked up for the general public under their code but the Visa code still shows availability.

There's a free 5"x7" photo and meet & greet in Epcot for cardholders.

And every once in a while they do targeted promotions where they offer select cardholders the chance to earn 3x-5x the number of rewards points during the promotional period.
