Disney Visa Rewards?

Can I use my rewards $ to buy Disney dollars from the Disney store?

The other Disney Visa thread has a post that says you cannot get disney dollars.

I'm going to call our TDS and ask. I wanted to buy DD, too.

Well, I just called TDS and the clerk said she "thought you could buy DD's with the Visa points".

However, no one has tried it yet at their store. She said bring card in and try. Well, no way.

What else can Disney Visa Reward points be used for? I don't have very many points, but am planning a trip. I'd hate to forget to use them!!!

The rewards card is processed just like a credit card. If you can use it bo buy merchandise in a Disney Store, why not Disney Dollars?

I just called my Disney store and was told, "No, you cannot use rewards points to buy disney dollars because disney dollars are just like cash."
Huh??? I always thought of disney dollars like a gift card, it is not cash!
