I've used my rewards "dollars" all over WDW. I've paid for hotels, meals, souveniers, mickey bars, earrings, pearls in Epcot, park tickets...every place at WDW, and World of Disney (?the bigbigbig
disney store at DTD) and the Disney christmas shop at DTD, have taken my rewards points. Of course, I never have enough points! There are places at WDW that give Disney VISA cardholders discounts when using the credit card (World of Disney, some of the park tours) so I charge these, so I get the discounted price AND earn more points.
It takes about 1-2 weeks to get the rewards card. You have to order it from Chase (you can do it online) and transfer a minimum of 20 points if it's your first card, 10 points on subsequent cards. You will get a card similar to a credit card, with a magnetic stripe on the back. When you purchase something you want to pay for with points, the clerk (waitress, whoever) will swipe the card just like with a credit card. Your receipt will tell you the remaining balance. If you find you haven't transferred enough points, you can do it online, and as long as you already have a rewards card the points transfer almost immediately. One word of warning; the rewards card expires, I think (check with Chase) at the end of Dec in the year AFTER you order it. I just ordered a card for my trip at the end of August 2008; it will expire in Dec 2009, I think. When the card expires, any points on it are gone also

so don't transfer more than you think you will use!
I have over 700 points on my card, just waiting for my trip to WDW in August. They will pay the balance on my room-only ressie and for most of our meals (just me and DD). DH and I charge everything (gas, food, purchases, heating oil!!!, etc) and pay the balance in full every month. No interest charges, "money" back for WDW

! How can that be bad?
